• Tallies three hits Wednesday
Volpe went 3-for-4 with a double, a walk and two runs Wednesday in an extra-inning loss to Baltimore.

Advice: Volpe set the table well out of the leadoff spot, reaching base four times and notching his sixth effort of at least three hits this season. The second-year shortstop came up with a clutch hit in the ninth inning, doubling to left field and later coming home to score the game-tying run on a Giancarlo Stanton single. Volpe had been struggling coming into Wednesday, going 3-for-23 with seven strikeouts over his previous five contests. Rotowire.com 20 minutes ago

  • Swipes second bag
Robert went 2-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base Wednesday against the White Sox.

Advice: Robert has popped five home runs in 14 games since returning from the injured list, but he's otherwise been a poor source of fantasy value. He has a 39.3 percent strikeout in that span and is hitting just .184. Positively, Robert did swipe his first base since returning and his second of the season. Rotowire.com Today, 7:36 am

  • Tosses quality start but takes loss
Crochet (6-6) took the loss against Houston on Wednesday, allowing three runs on nine hits and one walk while striking out eight batters over six innings.

Advice: Crochet racked up a hearty 19 whiffs and eight punchouts, but it wasn't enough to keep him out of the loss column in a contest during which he was supported with just one run. The fact that the three earned runs were the most the left-hander has allowed since April 24 speaks volumes about the quality of his campaign thus far. Crochet has tallied six consecutive quality starts and is tied for 10th in the majors with 10 total on the campaign. He also ranks second in the league with 124 punchouts while posting a 3.25 ERA and 0.95 WHIP through 88.2 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:05 pm

  • Remains perfect in save conversions
Yates earned a save against the Mets on Wednesday, striking out one batter in a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Yates protected a two-run Texas lead in the top of the ninth frame, retiring the side in order on 16 pitches. The veteran reliever is a perfect 11-for-11 in save chances this season -- no closer in baseball has converted more saves without blowing any opportunities. Yates hasn't given up more than one run in any of his 26 appearances, leading to a superb 1.03 ERA. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:28 pm
  • Bobby Witt Jr. drives in Royals only run in loss
Bobby Witt Jr. went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI against the A’s on Wednesday.

Advice: After knocking a base hit in the first inning, Witt Jr. drove in the only run of the game for the Royals with a double in the fifth to plate Nelson Velázquez. The 24-year-old shortstop has been one of the top fantasy producers, slashing .323/.372/.545 with 11 homers, 59 runs scored, 52 RBI, and 21 steals across 333 plate appearances. Peralta (5-4) earned the win over the Angels on Wednesday, allowing three hits and two walks while striking out eight over six shutout innings.

Advice: Peralta gave up six runs over 5.1 innings in his previous start, but he bounced back with one of his best outings of the season. This is the second time he's kept runs off the board through 15 starts this year, and it's his sixth quality start. Peralta is at a 4.06 ERA, 1.17 WHIP and 106:29 K:BB through 82 innings. The veteran right-hander's next start is projected to be at home versus the Rangers. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:15 pm
  • Blows save, picks up fifth win
Kimbrel (5-2) earned the win and blew a save against the Yankees on Wednesday, allowing one run on two hits with a strikeout in the ninth inning.

Advice: Kimbrel was called upon to protect a 5-4 lead in the ninth inning but allowed a leadoff double by Anthony Volpe and a game-tying single by Giancarlo Stanton. He was able to keep the game tied and the Yankees won in the 10th inning to earn Kimbrel the win. Until Wednesday, Kimbrel had not allowed an earned run since May 8 or blown a save since April 28. On the season Kimbrel is now 16-for-20 in save chances and owns a 2.63 ERA, 0.99 WHIP and 39:11 K:BB over 27.1 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:10 pm

He scattered three hits and two walks, tossing 60-of-101 pitches for strikes. The 28-year-old right-hander ends the day with a 4.06 ERA, 1.17 WHIP, and a 106/29 K/BB ratio across 82 innings. • Craig Kimbrel blows save against Yankees
Craig Kimbrel allowed one run on two hits on Wednesday. He struck out one, blew the save, but wound up grabbing the win.

Advice: Kimbrel let the Yankees tie the game after a lead-off double by Anthony Volpe and single by Giancarlo Stanton. This was his fourth blown save while still sporting a 2.63 ERA. Dillon Tate closed this one out for Baltimore in the 10th inning. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:16 pm
