    • Erick Fedde hurls six strong in victory over ARI
      Erick Fedde went six innings while allowing two runs to get a win over the Diamondbacks on Saturday.

      Advice: Fedde did allow eight hits, but he didn’t put anyone on via walk while striking out six. The right-hander gave up runs in the first and fifth inning and he was able to avoid the big inning for another strong outing for the 31-year-old. The White Sox have been a disaster, but Fedde has been an absolute bright spot with a 3.09 ERA through 87 1/3 innings. He’s scheduled to take on the Tigers on Friday.     • Grabs four-out save
      Jansen pitched 1.1 perfect innings to earn the save in Saturday's 8-4 win over the Yankees.

      Advice: Greg Weissert was shaky in the eighth inning, but Jansen was able to get the last out of the frame with runners on the corners. The Red Sox added some insurance in the bottom of the eighth, and Jansen slammed the door in the ninth. The right-hander is up to 11 saves this season, though he has picked up just two of them over four appearances in June.     • Cranks three-run homer
      Riley went 1-for-2 with a three-run home run and two walks in Saturday's 9-2 victory against the Rays.

      Advice: Riley broke the game open in the seventh frame with his three-run shot to center field that gave Atlanta an 8-1 lead. It was the second straight contest with a long ball for the third baseman following a 23-game homerless stretch (and a 45-game span during which he went deep only once). Riley may finally be getting his power on track, but with just five long balls through 233 plate appearances, he'll be hard-pressed to reach 30 homers for the fourth straight season.       Semien went 3-for-4 with a double, a walk, three RBI and one stolen base in Saturday's 7-5 loss to the Mariners.

      Advice: Semien got the Rangers on the board with an RBI double in the fifth inning and added a two-out, two-run single in the ninth, but the comeback fell short. This was his third multi-hit effort in June, though it was his first since June 3. The second baseman is slashing .265/.330/.438 with 11 home runs, 40 RBI, 50 runs scored and three stolen bases over 69 contests this season.       Rodriguez went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 7-5 win over the Rangers.

      Advice: Rodriguez has two homers over his last three games and three of his seven long balls this year have come in June. The outfielder is batting .278 (15-for-54) over 14 contests this month, though Saturday was the first game since June 4 in which he didn't strike out.     • Lugo gets 10th win after six strong vs. Dodgers
      Seth Lugo gave up two runs in six innings to get a win against the Dodgers on Saturday.

      Advice: The victory is already the 10th of the season for Lugo. The right-hander allowed a two-run single to Gavin Lux in the fourth, but outside of that he handled the Dodgers lineup without many issues. He scattered six hits allowed while walking just one and striking out four. Lugo has been excellent in 2024, and it’d be a surprise if he wasn’t an All-Star at this point.     • Trevor Megill snags 12th save
      Trevor Megill closed out a 3-1 win over the Reds for his 12th save of the season.

      Advice: It wasn’t a flawless inning for Megill, who did allow a walk, a hit, and a run; however, he got the job done. He now has a 2.25 ERA on the season and has been a steadying presence for the Brewers at the end of games. Even though he will lose his job as closer when Devin Williams returns, he’ll remain a valuable reliever for the Brewers and needs to simply be held in fantasy leagues because you’re unlikely to get much trying to trade him away when everybody knows his time accruing saves is coming to a close within the month.     • Kenley Jansen locks down four-out save on Saturday
      Kenley Jansen picked up his 11th save of the season on Saturday night, recording the final four outs against the Yankees.

      Advice: Jansen came on to put out a fire in the eighth inning with two men on and two outs with the Red Sox clinging to a two-run advantage. He got Anthony Volpe to fly out to right field to end the threat — then returned to work a perfect ninth inning to close it out. On the season, Jansen now holds a 2.74 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and a 30/11 K/BB ratio (23 innings) to go along with a pair of saves and two victories. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:32 pm
       
    • Secures save Saturday
      Megill notched a save against the Reds on Saturday, allowing one run on one hit and one walk in one inning.

      Advice: A trio of Milwaukee pitchers combined to shut out Cincinnati over eight innings before the ball was handed to Megill for the ninth. The right-hander didn't make things easy, issuing a walk and allowing a run-scoring double before getting his first out, but he was ultimately able to slam the door for the save. Megill has been great in his first venture as a closer this season, going 12-for-13 in save tries while posting a 2.25 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 25:6 K:BB over 20 innings. He appears to have a firm grasp on ninth-inning duties for the Brewers, at least until Devin Williams (back) is able to return from the injured list, potentially in the latter half of July.
