      Ha-Seong Kim belted a solo homer on Wednesday in the Padres’ blowout loss to the Marlins.

      Advice: There weren’t a whole lot of positives for San Diego in this one as Kim’s third-inning shot off Marlins starter Braxton Garrett represented their lone tally in a one-sided affair.     • Report: Blue Jays have interest in Ryan McMahon
      According to MLB Network’s Jon Morosi, the Rockies are unlikely to move Ryan McMahon this summer, though the Blue Jays and other clubs have interest in him.

      Advice: McMahon has busted out or at least enjoyed an extended hot streak this season, coming in at .286/.366/.483 to date. That’s a 135 OPS+ from a guy who has never before topped 100 in a season. Still, the Rockies, who have McMahon signed through 2027, have never heard of the concept of selling high.       Ramirez went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, two walks and four total runs scored in Tuesday's 13-7 win over the Rockies.

      Advice: Ramirez has five multi-hit efforts, five homers and 15 RBI over his last seven contests. He opened the scoring in the first inning with his team-leading 16th homer of the campaign. The third baseman has added a major-league-best 56 RBI with 41 runs scored, eight stolen bases and a .272/.328/.558 slash line over 54 games this season.       Advice: Ramírez has spent most of the year with a slash line well below his usual standards, but going 16-for-44 with seven homers and six doubles in his last 11 games has pushed him up to .272/.328/.558, and he now has eight more RBI (56) than anyone else in the majors.       McMahon went 1-for-3 with a walk and a two-run home run Sunday against the Phillies.

      Advice: McMahon popped his 10th home run of the season in the first inning, and half of those long balls have come in his last 10 starts. In that span, he's scored 10 runs and driven in 11 while hitting .268.       Advice: Kim drove in the go-ahead run with a bunt single off of Victor Gonzalez in the seventh inning, then came around to score on an infield single off the bat of Fernando Tatis Jr. With his two-hit attack, the dynamic 28-year-old infielder is now hitting .216/.333/.362 with six homers, 23 RBI and 13 stolen bases on the season.       Ryan McMahon went 1-for-3 with a walk and a two-run home run in a win over the Phillies on Sunday.

      Advice: McMahon is having one of the least-talked-about strong seasons of any player in baseball. The 29-year-old is slashing .294/.377/.500 with 10 home runs and 32 RBI on the year.
