    • Elly De La Cruz sits for first time this season
Elly De La Cruz is absent from the Reds lineup Wednesday for the first time this season.

Advice: No word of any injury, and we’re going to assume this was a planned day off. Spencer Steer got one yesterday, and he also had been in the lineup every game this season. The Reds have Santiago Espinal at shortstop today. Rotoworld Today, 10:20 am
    • Receives first day off
De La Cruz is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game in Arizona.

Advice: For the first time all season, De La Cruz will exit the starting nine for what looks to be a routine maintenance day before the Reds continue their road trip Thursday in Los Angeles. Santiago Espinal will step in at shortstop in place of De La Cruz, who has slowed down a bit at the plate of late with two hits and six strikeouts in 14 at-bats over his last three games. • Goes yard in Tuesday's win
McMahon went 2-for-3 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Padres.

Advice: McMahon got the scoring going for the Rockies with a solo blast to right center off Dylan Cease in the fourth. It was his second home run this month and his first since May 3. He's now rocking a four-game hit streak with multiple hits in two of those while only striking out once over that span. McMahon has been one of the most consistent hitters in their lineup so far this year, slashing .308/.389/.481 with six homers, 22 RBI, 18 runs and a 22:50 BB:K in 180 plate appearances. • Drives in four runs
Ramirez went 2-for-3 with four RBI, two stolen bases, and two walks in Monday's win over the Rangers.

Advice: Ramirez knocked two-run singles in both the eighth and ninth innings Monday. It was his first time drawing multiple walks or stealing multiple bases in a game this season. Ramirez was stuck in a 1-for-19 slump over his previous six games before Monday's performance. The veteran third baseman bumped his slash line to .242/.294/.455 with 37 RBI, seven steals and 16 extra-base hits through 41 games. Rotowire.com Monday, 8:40 pm
    • Ramirez has four RBI in win Monday
Jose Ramirez went 2-for-3 with two walks, two stolen bases and four RBI in the Guardians’ win against the Rangers on Monday.

Advice: Ramirez contributed to the Guardians’ win with two-run singles in both the eighth inning and ninth inning. He also stole two bases which gives him seven on the season. Ramirez’ average is merely .242 on the season, but he’s up to 37 RBI in 41 games. Rotoworld Monday, 8:39 pm
    • In Monday's lineup
Kim (wrist) will start at shortstop and bat ninth in Monday's game versus the Rockies.

Advice: Kim was removed from Sunday's game against the Dodgers after being hit by a pitch on his left wrist. However, X-rays came back clean and he won't wind up missing any starts. Rotowire.com Monday, 3:29 pm

    • Dealing with wrist injury
Kim was hit by a pitch on his left wrist in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Dodgers, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Kim took a 94 mph fastball from Walker Buehler off his left wrist in the bottom of the fourth inning, ultimately exiting the contest the following frame. The infielder underwent X-rays on his arm following the contest that came back negative, according to manager Mike Shildt, which bodes well for Kim moving forward. The 28-year-old can be considered day-to-day for the time being ahead of San Diego's three-game series with the Rockies at home beginning Monday. Rotowire.com Sunday, 4:16 pm

    • Swats homer in loss
De La Cruz went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and was hit by a pitch in Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Giants.

Advice: De La Cruz launched his ninth home run in the fourth inning for the Reds' lone run. He entered Saturday with multiple steals in three straight games. The dynamic infielder has hit safely in three straight and is batting .272 with a .910 OPS over 158 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Sunday, 6:05 am
    • Ryan McMahon powers Rockies to win over Rangers
Ryan McMahon went 4-for-5 with an RBI on Saturday, leading the Rockies to an 8-3 win over the Rangers.

Advice: McMahon served as Colorado’s primary offensive catalyst in this one, kicking off a six-run outburst in the seventh inning with an RBI single off Rangers reliever David Robertson. The 29-year-old corner infielder has been a steady, yet unspectacular, fantasy contributor for a couple seasons now. He’s off to a really nice start this year, batting .303/.391/.462 with 16 runs scored, five homers and 21 RBI through 170 plate appearances in 39 games. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:54 am
