    • Picks up sixth save
Fairbanks allowed one hit during one scoreless inning to pick up the save Sunday against the Orioles.

Advice: Fairbanks worked around a two-out single to pick up his sixth save. It was his third save since May 11, when he made his return from a stint on the IL. Over the three weeks since his return, he's appeared in 10 games and has yet to allow an earned run while allowing nine baserunners and striking out nine over 10 innings. • Pete Fairbanks picks up sixth save
Pete Fairbanks worked a scoreless ninth and earned a save Sunday against the Orioles.

Advice: Fairbanks has settled three saves in three weeks since coming off the IL last month, but he’s been exceptional. The only run he’s allowed in 10 appearances was an unearned one from the automatic runner scoring in extra innings. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:47 pm
    • Evan Phillips quiets Rockies to collect ninth save
Evan Phillips tossed a perfect ninth inning on Saturday against the Rockies to collect his ninth save of the season.

Advice: Phillips got the call to protect a three-run lead in the final frame and required just 11 pitches (seven strikes) to slam the door. The 29-year-old righty picked up his first save since returning from the injured list ahead of Friday’s series opener and remains one of the better closing options in the entire fantasy landscape. • Gets save in first outing since IL
Phillips pitched a perfect inning and struck out one to earn the save in Saturday's 4-1 win over the Rockies.

Advice: This was Phillips' first appearance in nearly a month due to a hamstring strain. He looked rust-free, throwing 11 pitches (seven strikes) to set down the bottom of the Rockies' order for his ninth save of the season. Phillips has a 0.61 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 18:4 K:BB over 14.2 innings, and he's yet to take a blown save this year. It doesn't appear he'll be eased into the closer role again, not that he needs to be handled with kid gloves considering his track record in high-leverage spots over the last two years. • Garrett Crochet strikes out eight in no-decision
Garrett Crochet held the Brewers to one run over six innings while striking out eight Saturday in a no-decision for the White Sox.

Advice: Crochet scattered five hits with one walk. The left-hander continues to impress even while playing for arguably the worst team in baseball, and he’s struck out 19 over his last two outings while allowing just three runs over 12 innings. Any question that Crochet has the stuff to succeed as a starter was pretty silly, but it should have been answered now. The questions of whether he can handle the modern rigors remain in doubt, but right now, Crochet is an excellent fantasy option even if the wins won’t come. A chance to impress is scheduled over the weekend against the Red Sox. Rotoworld Saturday, 5:18 pm

    • Delivers another quality start
Crochet didn't factor into the decision in an extra-inning loss to the Brewers on Saturday, allowing one run on five hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out eight.

Advice: Crochet's now logged quality starts in five of his last six outings, posting a stellar 1.03 ERA in that span (35 innings). The 24-year-old left-hander continues to provide a bright spot on a rebuilding White Sox team -- Crochet's ERA is down to 3.49 on the year with a 0.93 WHIP and 93 strikeouts, good for second most in the league. He'll look to keep rolling in his next outing, currently slated for next week at home against Boston. Rotowire.com Saturday, 5:00 pm

    • Converts 12th save
Munoz allowed a hit and struck out two in a scoreless inning to earn the save in Friday's 5-4 win over the Angels.

Advice: Munoz's scoreless streak is up to six innings, and he allowed just one run over 13.1 innings in May while converting all seven of his save chances during the month. The closer is 12-for-13 in save chances this year. He's been hard to hit with a 1.42 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 35:8 K:BB over 25.1 innings as the Mariners' top ninth-inning option. Munoz needs one more save to match his career high from last year. Rotowire.com Friday, 10:48 pm
    • Andrés Muñoz locks down 12th save of season
Andrés Muñoz fired a scoreless ninth with two strikeouts to pick up a save Friday against the Angels.

Advice: Muñoz needed just 15 pitches to get through the outing with 11 of them going for strikes. The right-hander has been absolutely dominant as of late with a 1.42 ERA and 12 saves for his troubles. To say he’s not in danger of giving up his closing gig is quite the understatement. • Racks up eight punchouts
Lopez (3-2) yielded a run on four hits and two walks over six innings Friday, striking out eight and earning a win over the Athletics.

Advice: Lopez worked around some trouble throughout the contest and turned in one of his best starts of the year. He recorded a season-high eight strikeouts with 16 whiffs, including nine with his slider. It was the first time he recorded more than five punchouts in a start since April 30. Lopez has produced six quality starts in 10 appearances, resulting in a 1.73 ERA through 57.1 frames. His next start is projected to be in Washington. Rotowire.com Friday, 8:47 pm
