      Steer started at first base and went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and an RBI in Sunday's 4-3 loss to Texas.

      Advice: Steer moved from his usual left field to first base, replacing the injured Christian Encarnacion-Strand (hand). The run batted in was just his second in the last 14 games, but Speer continues to the lead the club with 20 RBI through 28 games. The steal was his seventh, nearly half of the 15 he had over 156 games in 2023. Encarnacion-Strand may miss a few more games, per Mark Sheldon of MLB.com, and Steer could add to his games played at first base. So far, he's made four appearances there.       Jonathan Aranda (finger) started a minor league rehab assignment on Friday with Triple-A Durham.

      Advice: Aranda wound up landing on the injured list towards the end of spring training after suffering a broken right finger. The 25-year-old figures to be ready to make his season debut in early May after getting in a couple rehab games for Triple-A Durham. Rotoworld Saturday, 8:19 am

      Aranda (finger) joined Triple-A Durham on Friday to begin a rehab assignment, MLB.com reports.

      Advice: Steer snapped an 0-for-18 skid in the third inning then stole his sixth base in 26 games and is on pace to surpass the 15 steals he had in 2023. That's the good fantasy news.       Manager Kevin Cash said Aranda (finger) is expected to begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Durham later this week, Steve Carney of StPeteNine.com reports.

      Advice: Aranda had the pins removed from his surgically repaired right ring finger a week ago, and he looks to be nearing a return to game action. The 25-year-old has been sidelined for the past month, so he'll need a good number of rehab at-bats before being activated from the 10-day injured list.       Santander went 3-for-5 with three doubles, two RBI and one run scored in Saturday's 9-7 win over the Royals.

      Advice: This was Santander's first three-hit game of the season and just his fourth multi-hit effort. The outfielder is starting to warm up, going 7-for-15 (.467) over his last four contests following a three-game slump.
