    • Takes seat Wednesday
Chourio is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rays.

Advice: The rookie will bow out of the lineup for the series finale while Jake Bauers picks up a start in left field alongside Blake Perkins and Sal Frelick. After opening his big-league career by producing hits in 11 of his first 13 games, Chourio has fallen into a massive slump since mid-April. Over his subsequent 14 games, Chourio has gone 6-for-43 (.140) while getting on base at a .196 clip. Rotowire.com 12 minutes ago
    • Collects save in season debut
Duran gave up one hit and struck out a batter during a scoreless ninth inning to pick up the save during Tuesday's 6-5 win over the White Sox.

Advice: In his first appearance since being reinstated from the injured list, Duran picked up right where he left off last season. He allowed a leadoff single to Tommy Pham before retiring the next three batters, ending the game with a four-pitch strikeout of Andrew Vaughn. It wasn't clear heading into Tuesday's game whether or not Duran would immediately slide back into the closer role after missing the first month of the season, but it appears manager Rocco Baldelli will trust the 26-year-old righty to work the ninth inning going forward. • Albies picks up two more hits, RBI in loss to M’s
Ozzie Albies went 2-for-4 with an RBI in a loss Tuesday to the Mariners.

Advice: Albies has driven in runs in both games against Seattle thus far. The switch-hitting infielder got Atlanta on the board in the eighth with a single to score Jarred Kelenic, and Albies is now up to 18 RBI on the season. That numbers even more impressive when you consider that Albies missed time with his toe injury. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:47 pm
    • Out to 90 feet Tuesday
Luzardo (elbow) will extend his catch out to 90 feet Tuesday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Working his way back from a mild left flexor strain, Luzardo played catch Monday and will do so for a second straight day Tuesday. He will continue with a throwing progression as tolerated. Luzardo is eligible to return May 10, but there's no firm timetable for his potential activation yet. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:34 pm

    • Making another rehab start
Garrett (shoulder) will make a rehab start Wednesday with Triple-A Jacksonville before potentially returning from the 15-day injured list, Daniel Alvarez-Montes of ElExtraBase.comreports.

Advice: Garrett has spent all season on the shelf while recovering from a left shoulder impingement, and while he hasn't experienced any setbacks in his recovery from that injury, he did experience a case of "dead arm" following an April 15 bullpen session. The issue prompted the Marlins to temporarily pause Garrett's rehab assignment before he returned to action last Friday for Triple-A Jacksonville and allowed two earned runs on four hits and no walks while striking out four over three innings. Garrett tossed 59 pitches in that outing, so the Marlins will likely want him to get stretched out to around 75 pitches before inserting him into the big-league rotation. • Duran returns from IL
Jax will likely shift into a setup role since the Twins reinstated Jhoan Duran (oblique) from the 15-day injured list Tuesday.

Advice: Jax pitched well as the fill-in closer to begin the season with four saves, a 2.25 ERA and 17:4 K:BB across 12 innings, but it appears his time in the role is now up. The right-hander should still see plenty of high-leverage opportunities as a setup man, but his fantasy utility will likely be minimal while Duran is healthy. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:21 am
    • Reinstated Tuesday, as expected
The Twins activated Duran (oblique) from the 15-day injured list Tuesday.

Advice: Minnesota will finally have its closer healthy and available after Duran missed the first month of the season due to an oblique strain. The right-hander labored a bit during his first rehab outing, but he looked like himself during his second and final appearance Saturday, as he averaged 101.8 mph with his fastball. Manager Rocco Baldelli hasn't officially indicated whether or not Duran will immediately slot back in as the Twins' closer, but he seems likely to get ninth-inning chances sooner than later. • Twins activate Jhoan Duran for Tuesday return
Twins activated RHP Jhoan Duran (oblique) from the 15-day injured list.

Advice: Duran will make his season debut this week, reclaiming his role as Minnesota’s closer, following a one-month stint on the injured list to open the year. He was sent to Triple-A St. Paul for a rehab assignment over the weekend and it appears all went well and he’s been given the green light to return to the active roster. The 26-year-old finished last year with a career-high 27 saves and a 2.45 ERA across 62 2/3 innings. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:05 am
    • Delivers run in loss
Suarez went 1-for-4 with an RBI in Monday's 8-4 loss to the Dodgers.

Advice: Suarez was involved in Arizona's three-run fifth inning, plating a run with a single. His bat has slumbered to start the season (.229 average, .634 OPS), but the third baseman has managed to deliver with runners on base. Suarez is third on the club with 18 RBI, fueled by a .414 average with runners in scoring position. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:26 am
