    • Good to go Monday
Ragans (calf) is listed as the Royals' probable starting pitcher for Monday's game against the Brewers in Kansas City.

Advice: Ragans experienced cramping in his left calf in his most recent start this past Tuesday against the Blue Jays, but he had already tossed 6.2 innings (105 pitches) and likely wouldn't have stayed in the game any longer even if he wasn't experiencing any discomfort. The Royals didn't suggest that Ragans required any follow-up testing, so he's not expected to face any restrictions as he takes the hill Monday for his eighth start of the season. Ragans tentatively lines up for a two-start week, with his second outing expected to come Saturday against the Angels. Rotowire.com Today, 7:38 am

    • Sends game into extras
Heim went 1-for-3 with a walk and solo home run in Sunday's 3-2 extra-inning win over the Royals.

Advice: Heim knotted the game at two runs apiece with a ninth-inning home run that set the stage for Nathaniel Lowe's game-winning single in the 10th. For Heim, it was his fourth homer and first in 12 games. He's appeared in 29 of the team's first 35 games, which is a lot for a catcher whose bat has tailed off in August and September in each of the past two seasons. Rotowire.com Today, 6:11 am

    • Homers, reaches base four times
Winker went 2-for-2 with two walks, a three-run home run, a double and an additional run scored during Sunday's 11-8 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Winker entered the game in a 1-for-21 skid but broke the skid with a couple of extra-base hits, including a three-run homer off Blue Jays starter Alek Manoah that put the cap on a five-run fourth inning for the Nats. The homer was the fourth of the season for Winker, who also later added his seventh double. He's slashing .254/.372/.421 with four homers, 18 RBI, 18 runs and three stolen bases over 131 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 5:58 pm

    • Jonah Heim hits ninth-inning homer in Rangers’ win
Jonah Heim hit a game-tying homer in the ninth Sunday as the Rangers beat the Royals 3-2 in 10 innings.

Advice: Heim got off to a slow start over the first 10 days, but he’s settled in nicely since, batting .296 with four homers and 16 RBI in his last 21 games. The Rangers have occasionally batted him as low as eighth and ninth, but he was in the fifth spot today against a lefty and he could hit a little higher versus righties with Wyatt Langford out. • Jesse Winker hits three-run homer in Nats’ win
Jesse Winker finished 2-for-2 with a three-run homer and a walk Sunday against the Jays.

Advice: He also made a surprisingly good catch to rob Justin Turner in the eighth... even Winker himself seemed pretty surprised by it. Winker was in a 7-for-54 slump before getting to face Alek Manoah today. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:59 pm

    • Christopher Morel reaches four times in win Sunday
Christopher Morel singled, drove in a run and drew three walks on Sunday afternoon as the Cubs bested the Brewers.

Advice: The hot-hitting 24-year-old third baseman capped off the scoring in the contest with a two-out RBI single off of Janson Junk in the seventh inning. He also walked three times in the ballgame, but the Cubs were never able to cash him in. On the season, he’s now slashing .220/.312/.431 with seven long balls, 21 RBI and three stolen bases through his first 34 games. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:42 pm

    • Roberts hopeful for minimum IL stint for Phillips
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts told reporters Sunday that the team is hopeful that Evan Phillips (hamstring) will only have a minimum stay on the injured list.

Advice: Phillips was diagnosed with a Grade 1 hamstring strain and placed on the injured list before Sunday’s game against Atlanta. The right-hander will miss at least two weeks, but it doesn’t sound like a (relatively) long-term injury for the 29-year-old closer. While Phillips is out, Daniel Hudson and Blake Treinen will be the favorites for save chances, with Hudson the most likely to pitch the ninth in the coming days. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:46 am

    • Out with hamstring strain
The Dodgers placed Phillips on the 15-day injured list Sunday with a right hamstring strain, Kirsten Watson of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports.

Advice: The right-hander presumably suffered the injury during Friday's appearance against Atlanta, when he struck out one in a scoreless ninth inning amid a 2-2 tie. Manager Dave Roberts said Phillips' injury is a Grade 1 strain, per David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports, so the absence may not be a lengthy one. Daniel Hudson is the likely favorite to fill in at closer for the Dodgers. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:00 am

    • Dodgers place Phillips on IL with hamstring injury
Dodgers placed RHP Evan Phillips on the 15-day injured list with a hamstring strain.

Advice: This is a substantial loss to the Dodgers’ bullpen and for fantasy managers who roster Phillips. The right-hander will be out of action for at least two weeks, and managers will want to make sure to follow for further updates on his status. Blake Treinen was activated off the injured list in the corresponding transaction, and he’s someone who could see save chances with Phillips out. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:59 am
