    • Ends Game 2 of twin bill with save
Iglesias notched a save in the second game of Monday's doubleheader against the Padres, striking out one batter in a perfect inning of work.

Advice: Atlanta got seven dominant scoreless innings from Chris Sale before Pierce Johnson took over with a scoreless frame in the eighth. Iglesias then completed the shutout with a perfect 13-pitch ninth. The veteran closer hasn't posted his usual big strikeout numbers with just a 12:5 K:BB over 18.1 innings, but he's converted 11 of 13 save chances this season while registering a 2.45 ERA and 1.15 WHIP. • Turns in quality start
Gilbert allowed three runs on eight hits and a walk over six innings in a no-decision Monday. He struck out one during the win over the Yankees.

Advice: Gilbert coughed up two runs in the first inning but was still able to settle in for a quality start. He produced a stellar 1.69 ERA through his first seven starts but has seen that climb to 3.20 after allowing 14 runs over his last 16.2 frames. On the bright side, two of those outings were quality starts. Gilbert recorded only one strikeout with five whiffs, with both setting new season lows. His next start is lined up to be in Washington this weekend. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:53 pm

    • Extends home-run streak
Devers went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Monday's win over the Rays.

Advice: Devers' two-run blast in the fourth inning was his 10th of the year, and he's gone deep in six straight games, though he has only seven total hits during that span. The star third baseman is slashing .284/.380/.567 with 23 RBI and 20 extra-base hits through 37 games. In 18 games this month, Devers has knocked 13 extra-base hits while going 20-for-70 (.286). • Gilbert gets quality start and no-decision Monday
Logan Gilbert allowed three runs in six innings and got a no-decision against the Yankees on Monday.

Advice: Gilbert recorded only one strikeout and allowed eight hits and a walk. He battled in a tough matchup against the Yankees on the road. This was his lowest strikeout total of the season by far, but otherwise Gilbert has been fairly consistent. He’s had eight quality starts in 10 tries this season. The 27-year-old right-hander is set to face the Nationals on the road on Saturday.

    • Rafael Devers homers in sixth straight contest
Rafael Devers homered for the sixth consecutive game on Monday, powering the Red Sox to a 5-0 victory over the Rays.

Advice: Devers set a franchise record by homering for the sixth consecutive contest when he took Rays starter Taj Bradley deep for a two-run homer to left field in the fourth inning. It was his 10th round-tripper of the season. The 27-year-old fantasy stalwart got off to a frosty start at the dish this season as he dealt with lingering shoulder and knee issues, but he’s certainly heated up lately with arguably the hottest stretch of his career, batting .286 (20-for-70) with seven homers in 18 contests since the start of May. • Iglesias gets 11th save Monday
Raisel Iglesias pitched a scoreless ninth inning to earn his 11th save of the season against the Padres on Monday.

Advice: Iglesias had allowed one run in three of his previous six appearances, which included one blown save. He got the Padres to go quietly with a clean ninth inning to preserve the Braves 3-0 shutout victory. Iglesias had the last two days off and only threw 13 pitches so he should be well rested for his next appearance.

    • José Berríos goes six in defeating White Sox
José Berríos defeated the White Sox by allowing three runs in six innings on Monday.

Advice: Three things worked in favor of Berríos on a day in which he was lacking his best stuff: he was facing the White Sox, he had CB Bucknor working his own special brand of magic behind the plate and he was facing the White Sox. Berríos allowed eight hits, including a Paul DeJong homer that was the seventh he’s surrendered in his last five outings. He’s currently 5-3 with a 2.98 ERA. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:39 pm
    • Another quality start in in victory
Berrios (5-3) earned the win Monday against the White Sox, allowing three runs on eight hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out six.

Advice: With the 100-pitch effort, Berrios collected his first win since April 20 and second consecutive quality start. The Blue Jays right-hander has posted an impressive eight quality starts in 10 total games started. Berrios owns a 2.98 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 48:18 K:BB in 60.1 innings this season. He is scheduled to face the Tigers on the road in his next start this weekend. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:30 pm
    • Triceps tightness keeps Senga from mound session
Kodai Senga did not throw his scheduled bullpen session Monday because of triceps tightness.

Advice: Senga isn’t being shut down; the Mets are still hoping to have him on the mound later this week. All of these little setbacks he’s having as he tries to return from a shoulder injury are very concerning, and it doesn’t really seem like he’s someone to count on at this point. Still, it’s not hopeless just yet. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:10 pm
