      Adolis García went 2-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in a win over the Marlins on Sunday.

      Advice: García took a sixth-inning offering from Trevor Rogers and hit it 395 feet at 108.2 mph for his 13th home run on the season. He also added an RBI earlier in the game and now has 40 RBI on the year, which has helped prop up a disappointing .231/.285/.462 slash line. As a free-swinger, García has always seemed at risk for batting average regression, and it’s possible he won’t match last year’s .245 batting average, but the power remains a true asset.       Advice: This has turned into quite a slump for García; he’s batting .164 in 110 at-bats since Apr. 25. The Rangers still don’t have much reason to drop him out of the cleanup spot, since most of the hitters behind him are struggling, too.       Bellinger went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a double in Thursday's 6-4 loss to Milwaukee.

      Advice: Bellinger opened the scoring with a two-out solo shot off Colin Rea, giving the Cubs a 1-0 lead in the first inning with his eighth homer of the year and his first in 18 games. While he hadn't been hitting for much power, Bellinger's been seeing the ball well recently -- he has hits in six straight games, going 11-for-27 (.407) in that span, including five consecutive two-hit efforts.       Ronald Acuña Jr. will undergo surgery on Tuesday to repair a torn ACL in his left knee.

      Advice: The procedure will be performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache, who performed Acuña’s other ACL surgery on his right knee back in 2021. The 26-year-old fantasy superstar There won’t be an official timetable for his return until he undergoes surgery next week as ElAttrache will determine at that time whether he suffered any additional structural damage to his knee, which would keep him sidelined much longer. If it winds up being a straightforward ACL surgery, there’s enough reason for fantasy managers to optimistically project Acuña to be ready for the outset of the 2025 campaign.       Advice: The stolen base was notable because it's the first of the season for Bellinger, though he did miss some time with a fractured ribcage, which could have cut into his running. He had a career-high 20 steals last year as he reached the 20-20 plateau for the first time in seven MLB campaigns. Bellinger hasn't been quite as effective so far in 2024, though he's batting a solid .262 with a .774 OPS, and the 28-year-old has the talent to start racking up the counting stats in a hurry.
