    • Moves to injured list
The Rockies placed Jones on the 10-day injured list Tuesday, retroactive to April 29, with a low-back strain.

Advice: The 25-year-old was removed from Sunday's game against the Astros after his back injury flared up, and he'll be sidelined for at least the next week and a half after being diagnosed with a strain. Prospect Jordan Beck was promoted in a corresponding move and should see most of the reps in left field while Jones is sidelined. Rotowire.com Today, 11:39 am

    • Rockies place Nolan Jones (back) on 10-day IL
Rockies placed OF Nolan Jones on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to April 29, with a low back strain.

Advice: Jones was removed from last Sunday’s game due to back tightness and now will head to the injured list until at least mid-May. The 25-year-old is slashing .170/.243/.277 through his first 26 games this season, which is definitely a disappointment for fantasy managers that drafted him expecting more of the same in 2023, but he’s hit somewhat of a sophomore slump. • Notches two more thefts
Acuna went 1-for-4 with a pair of stolen bases Monday in a loss to the Mariners.

Advice: Acuna's wheels were key in the production of Atlanta's only run, as the star outfielder began the seventh inning by reaching on an infield single, subsequently stole both second and third base, and came around to score on an Ozzie Albies double. Acuna also struck out three times in the contest, and he's now fanned multiple times in three straight games, but fantasy managers are likely to mostly ignore that as long as he continues to run wild on the basepaths. Acuna began the campaign with just one steal through his first nine games, but he's since racked up 12 steals over his subsequent 18 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:53 pm

    • Ronald Acuña Jr. steal two bags against Mariners
Ronald Acuña Jr. stole two bases and scored a run in a loss to the Mariners on Monday.

Advice: After breaking up Bryce Miller’s no-hitter, Acuña swiped second base to get into scoring position, and then took advantage of Seattle not paying attention by getting to third. He scored what looked to be the go-ahead run on a double from Ozzie Albies, but the Mariners were able to score two in the ninth to get the win. With the pair of thefts, Acuña is up to 13 stolen bases in the first month of action. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:15 pm

    • Nolan Jones likely headed to IL with back injury
Luke Zahlmann of The Denver Gazette reports that Nolan Jones (back) is likely headed to the injured list.

Advice: Jones was removed from Sunday’s game with stiffness in his back. The 25-year-old will be replaced on the roster by prospect Jordan Beck, with the transaction likely announced Tuesday. Jones has been a disappointment this year, and now he’ll miss at least a week while recovering from the back ailment. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:39 pm

    • Likely headed to IL
The Rockies are expected to place Jones (back) on the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Luke Zahlmann of The Denver Gazette reports.

Advice: Zahlmann notes that outfield prospect Jordan Beck is on track to receive a call-up from Triple-A Albuquerque, and given that he suffered a setback with his lingering back injury in Sunday's 8-2 loss to the Astros, Jones is an obvious candidate to come off the 26-man active roster in a corresponding move. Jones has been removed from games twice within the past week due to back stiffness, so it makes sense for the Rockies to get out in front of the issue and put him on the shelf for at least the next week and a half so he can rest up and recover. After a breakout 20-20 campaign with the Rockies in 2023, Jones has struggled mightily over the first month of the 2024 season, slashing just .170/.243/.277 while contributing one home run and two stolen bases over 103 plate appearances. • Early exit Sunday
Jones was forced to exit Sunday's game against the Rockies in the seventh inning due to back stiffness, Thomas Harding of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Jones has battled back stiffness since Tuesday and was forced to miss two games with the issue. After managing to play the entirety of Saturday's contest, Jones was back in the starting lineup Sunday but was forced to exit early after going 1-for-2 with a double and a run scored. The team has not yet decided whether Jones will require a stint on the injured list, but manager Bud Black did say that he is concerned that the issue is recurring. Rotowire.com Sunday, 10:50 pm

    • Homers in second straight
Tucker went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run Sunday against the Rockies.

Advice: Tucker took advantage of the offensive environment in Mexico City, homering in each of Houston's two contests there. He now has seven home runs on the season and has at least one hit in each of his last five starts. It comes as no surprise that Tucker has remained an excellent five-category contributor, highlighted by 39 combined RBI and runs scored as well as five stolen bases across 28 contests. • Nolan Jones leaves game with stiff back on Sunday
Nolan Jones was removed from Sunday’s game against the Astros due to stiffness in his back.

Advice: The 25-year-old outfielder has been battling the back issue for a while now and is very frustrated with his latest flareup on Sunday. Rockies’ skipper Bud Black told reporters on Sunday that they’ll determine over the next couple of days whether or not he’ll require a trip to the injured list. Fantasy managers who are relying on Jones for next week should be sure to have an alternative option in place. Rotoworld Sunday, 6:25 pm
