      Hernandez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Thursday in a 2-1 win over Washington.

      Advice: Hernandez's second-inning solo shot put the Dodgers on the board and amounted for half of the team's total output of runs in the low-scoring win. The long ball was the slugger's sixth of the campaign and his first over his past 11 contests. Hernandez has trailed off a bit of late after a strong start to his Dodgers tenure, but he still ranks second on the team and is tied for 11th in the majors with 20 RBI.       Castill0 (2-4) picked up the win Thursday, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks over six innings against the Rangers. He struck out six.

      Advice: Castillo had issues keeping the ball inside the park Thursday, allowing solo home runs to Nathaniel Lowe and Josh Smith in the first and fourth innings, respectively. He's now allowed a long ball in four of his six outings this season but has churned out three straight quality starts. During that stretch, Castillo owns a 1.89 ERA and a 24:3 K:BB across 19 innings.     • Picks up win in rainout
      Ragans (1-2) earned the win Thursday against the Blue Jays, allowing one run on three hits and three walks over five innings. He struck out four.

      Advice: Ragan technically pitched a complete game Thursday, with the outing being called after five innings due to rain. Regardless of the shortened game, Ragans managed to bounce back from a horrific start against the Orioles on Apr. 20 and got in the win column for the first time this season. Outside of his start against Baltimore, Ragans owns a 1.91 ERA with 33 strikeouts across 28.1 innings pitched. He's tentatively scheduled for a rematch with the Blue Jays in Toronto early next week.       Cole Ragans held the Blue Jays to one run over five innings to collect his first win of the season in a rain-shortened start.

      Advice: Ragans would have been able to go another inning or two if not for a nearly four-hour rain delay that eventually wound up ending the contest altogether. The 26-year-old left-hander bounced back from a dreadful outing last Saturday against the Orioles when he allowed seven runs in just 1 2/3 innings. A run-scoring single by Ernie Clement in the fourth inning accounted for the only damage against him in this one..     • Luis Castillo hurls six strong in victory over TEX
      Luis Castillo struck out six while throwing six innings of two-run baseball to pick up a win over the Rangers on Thursday.

      Advice: Castillo gave up four hits, and he walked two. There some traffic against the 31-year-old early, but he was able to keep runners at bay in another strong outing. Both runs came on solo blasts; one in the first by Nathaniel Lowe and another in the fourth by Josh Smith. After struggling in his first three starts, Castillo has allowed four earned runs total in his last three outings, and looks like the pitcher that fantasy managers were hoping to see.     • Goes four-plus in rehab start
      Buehler (elbow) was charged with five runs (three earned) on seven hits and two walks while striking out five over four-plus innings in a rehab start Wednesday with Triple-A Oklahoma City.

      Advice: Buehler's line wasn't pretty, but it bears mentioning that he was pitching at high altitude in Albuquerque, so the results were mostly secondary to how he felt physically during the outing. He got his pitch count up to 86 and averaged 94.1 miles per hour with his four-seamer, which is down 1.1 mph from what he averaged during the 2022 season prior to undergoing Tommy John surgery. Buehler has now made five rehab starts, and it's possible that he could return from the 15-day injured list to make his next outing with the Dodgers.       Seager (shin) will serve as the Rangers' designated hitter and No. 2 batter in Thursday's game against the Mariners.

      Advice: Seager was removed late in Wednesday's 5-1 win over Seattle after getting hit by a pitch in the seventh inning. According to Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News, manager Bruce Bochy said after the contest that Seager's left shin "swelled up pretty good," but the 29-year-old evidently feels good enough Thursday to give it a go, albeit in a non-defensive role.
