    Blanco (5-1) took the loss Friday against Minnesota, allowing four runs on three hits and three walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out six.

    Advice: Blanco faced 20 batters, marking a season low, not including his May 14 start against Oakland when he was ejected after three innings for a foreign substance. The Houston right-hander also yielded a season-high four runs, pushing his ERA up to 2.44 overall in 59 innings.   • Aaron Civale allows one run in no-decision
    Aaron Civale pitched 5 ⅓ innings on Friday against the Orioles and allowed one earned run. He struck out three and walked one.

    Advice: Civale has simplified his approach of late. This was his seventh consecutive start throwing his cutter at least 30% of the time and the third time in four starts where he’s thrown it 40% of the time. The final results were solid here against one of the best offenses in baseball, but Civale induced just six swings and misses while the Orioles hit 10 balls hard.   • Getting another start Friday
    Myers is scheduled to start Friday's game against the White Sox at American Family Field.

    Advice: Myers moved from the bullpen into the rotation this past weekend in Boston and struck out four while allowing one run over 4.1 innings in his start Sunday. The performance was good enough to earn Myers a second straight turn through the rotation for what will be his sixth start overall with Milwaukee this season.     Beeks allowed a run on two hits while striking out two and earning a save in Monday's 8-6 win over the Guardians.

    Advice: Beeks closed out the victory despite giving up a run for the fourth straight appearance. During that span, his ERA has jumped from 2.11 to 3.20 through 25.1 frames. It was the first time he converted a save since May 13 and he's now five for eight in save chances this season.   • Jalen Beeks gives up run in fourth straight outing
    Jalen Beeks recorded his fifth save despite giving up a run in the ninth Monday against the Guardians.

    Advice: Beeks gave up a double to Tyler Freeman and a single to Andrés Giménez before finishing off the Guardians. It’s the fourth straight outing in which Beeks has allowed a run, and his stint as the Rockies’ closer might not last much longer. Victor Vodnik could be next in line in Colorado.     Advice: Blanco fired five scoreless frames before coughing up a solo shot to Max Schuemann in the sixth inning. It was Blanco's first start since May 14 after serving a suspension for using a foreign substance. He forced 17 swinging strikes, including seven with his slider. It was the third time in nine starts that he's reached that number. Blanco lowered his ERA to a stellar 1.99 with a 51:22 K:BB through 54.1 frames.   • Cools off in no-decision
    Woo did not factor into the decision Sunday against Washington, allowing three earned runs on five hits and zero walks over six innings. He struck out one.

    Advice: Woo finally showed some signs of weakness Sunday, surrendering his first home run of the season and allowing a season-high three earned runs. Even so, the 24-year-old needed just 70 pitches to notch his second consecutive quality start. Despite not topping 80 pitches in any outing this season, Woo sits at 2-0 with a sparkling 1.66 ERA and 0.60 WHIP in 21.2 innings this season.     Advice: The 25-year-old got his first start since being called up Tuesday, taking the place of Joe Ross (back) in the Brewers rotation. Myers pitched well, not allowing a home run for the first time in five starts this season and improving his shaky 10:8 K:BB ratio.
