• Nick Gonzales delivers walk-off hit vs SF
Nick Gonzales went 2-for-5 with a game-winning single in a 7-6 win over the Giants in 10 innings on Tuesday.

Advice: The 24-year-old laced a 98 mph single off Erik Miller to score the game-winning run after David Bednar stranded the inherited runner on second in the top half of the inning. Gonzales is now hitting .282/.310/.462 with nine RBI in 11 games since being called up from Triple-A. Considering he had also made some real strides in his plate discipline at Triple-A and was hitting .358 in 30 games, Gonzales might be worth an add in deeper formats while he’s playing every day in Pittsburgh. • Dylan Moore homers twice as Mariners down Yankees
Dylan Moore went 3-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Yankees.

Advice: Moore pulled a pitch on the outside black of the plate 402 feet to left field for a two-run homer to give the Mariners a lead in the top of the third. He would later single in the seventh inning to drive in Mitch Garver and homered again in the ninth, accounting for four of the Mariners’ six runs driven in on the afternoon. Moore hasn’t hit for much of an average but has provided solid power and run support at the bottom of the Mariners’ lineup. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:16 pm

  • Isaac Paredes drives in two on three-hit night
Isaac Paredes went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Red Sox.

Advice: Paredes singled home two runs in the bottom of the first to give the Rays an early lead. Unfortunately, it would be the only two runs the Rays would score on the evening, as the lineup remained limited for much of the afternoon despite Paredes’ three-hit night. The veteran infielder has totaled 14 hits in his last 10 games and is hitting a solid .314 on the year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:26 pm

  • Nico Hoerner back in lineup Tuesday vs. Braves
Nico Hoerner (hamstring) is back in the lineup for Tuesday’s series opener against the Braves.

Advice: It’s an extremely encouraging development for fantasy managers as Hoerner is back at second base and batting sixth on Tuesday night at Wrigley Field following a six-game absence due to left hamstring tightness. The hope here is that he received enough time off to put the issue to bed completely. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:44 pm

  • Returns to lineup Tuesday
Hoerner (hamstring) will start at second base and bat sixth in Tuesday's game versus Atlanta.

Advice: Hoerner hasn't played in more than a week due to a left hamstring injury, but he's finally feeling well enough to give it a go Tuesday. Dansby Swanson is also back from an injured-list stint, so the Cubs will have their middle-infield duo back together for the first time since May 7. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:33 pm

  • Ji Hwan Bae called up, starting in center vs. SF
Pirates recalled OF Ji Hwan bae from Triple-A Indianapolis.

Advice: Bae will start in center field Tuesday against the Giants and hit ninth. The 24-year-old had some flashes of success for Pittsburgh in 2023, but he isn’t likely to contribute in enough categories to be a recommended addition in fantasy circles. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:32 am

  • Recall made official
The Pirates recalled Bae from Triple-A Indianapolis on Tuesday.

Advice: Bae began the season on the injured list with a hip issue and was optioned once healthy. He's earned a promotion following a terrific run at Indianapolis, though, during which he sported a .367/.479/.551 batting line with four home runs and seven stolen bases over 27 games. Bae is capable at a handful of positions but is mostly a second baseman and center fielder. He could see semi-regular duty. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:10 am

  • Report: Ji-Hwan Bae to be called up Tuesday
Alex Stumpf of MLB.com reports that the Pirates are recalling Ji-Hwan Bae from Triple-A Indianapolis.

Advice: Bae played well after being activated off the injured list and heading to Indianapolis with a .376 average and seven stolen bases to show for it. The 24-year-old can play all over the field and offers the ability to swipe bags with his speed, but isn’t likely to be a significant fantasy contributor in any other category. • Set to be recalled
Bae will be recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis prior to the Pirates' game against the Giants on Tuesday, Noah Hiles of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Advice: There's no word yet on what the corresponding roster move will be. Bae has slashed .367/.479/.551 with four home runs and seven stolen bases over 27 games with Indianapolis this season. The 24-year-old has played center field, second base and left field with Indianapolis and should bounce around to multiple positions in Pittsburgh. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:37 am
