    • Rebounds in no-decision
Quintana didn't factor into the decision in Thursday's extra-innings win over the Phillies, allowing two runs on four hits and no walls over 5.1 innings. He struck out four.

Advice: After surrendering 12 earned runs across his previous two starts, Quintana delivered a solid outing against Philadelphia. He didn't allow an extra-base hit during the start and both the runs against him came after Quintana was pulled. He allowed J.T. Realmuto and Bryce Harper to reach on consecutive singles before being replaced by Reed Garrett, who surrendered an RBI single and a sac fly immediately after. In nine starts, Quintana owns a 5.21 ERA with a 32:18 K:BB through 46.2 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:22 pm
    • Bednar with another clean inning for save
David Bednar picked up the save against the Cubs on Thursday.

Advice: The save was Bednar’s ninth of the season. He pitched a clean ninth inning and recorded a strikeout to preserve a one-run lead. After a shaky start to the season, Bednar now has back-to-back clean innings in save opportunities. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:20 pm
    • Goes through another workout
Turner (hamstring) went through a workout at Citizens Bank Park for the second straight day Thursday, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Turner went through agility drills and took grounders on the field and also hit in the indoor batting cage. While the Phillies are not ready to say the shortstop is progressing from his left hamstring strain ahead of schedule, it sure seems like he might be. Turner is less than two weeks into a projected six-week recovery timetable. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:55 pm

    • Trea Turner (hamstring) progressing rapidly
Trea Turner (hamstring) went through agility drills on Thursday at Citizens Bank Park.

Advice: Turner has goen through a full workout, which also includes hitting and fielding grounders, on back-to-back days, which is notable since he’s just under two weeks removed from suffering a left hamstring strain. The 30-year-old shortstop was originally expected to miss six weeks, but it sounds like he’s going to beat that original estimate by a considerable margin, which is good news for the Phillies and fantasy managers. • Brandon Nimmo scratched from Thursday’s lineup
Brandon Nimmo has been scratched from the lineup for Thursday’s showdown against the Phillies due to illness.

Advice: Nimmo is dealing with a stomach bug, which will keep him out for at least Thursday’s contest. It’ll be Tyrone Taylor moving up to the leadoff spot and DJ Stewart taking over in left field. He’s presumably day-to-day for now. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:28 pm

    • Scratched from lineup
Nimmo was scratched from the Mets' lineup prior to Thursday's game against the Phillies due to a stomach illness, Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

Advice: Nimmo wasn't feeling well heading into Thursday's contest, so the Mets will give him the day off to recover. In the meantime, DJ Stewart will take Nimmo's place in left field and bat fifth, moving Tyrone Taylor into the leadoff spot. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:22 pm

    • Pilfers 14th bag
Young went 1-for-4 with a stolen base in Wednesday's loss to the White Sox.

Advice: Getting another start in the leadoff spot, Young swiped his 14th bag of the season, tying him for fifth in the majors behind Elly De La Cruz (26), Jose Caballero (17), Brice Turang (16) and Bobby Witt (15). Young only has two successful steals through 12 games in May though, as his issues getting on base consistently are catching up to him -- he's slashing only .167/.295/.222 on the month. The Nationals have been shut out in back-to-back games and sit in the bottom six in runs scored and team OPS on the season, and unless Young heats up at the plate, his time at the top of the order is likely about to end. • On base three times in loss
Bichette went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double and two RBI in Wednesday's loss to the Orioles.

Advice: His two-run double in the third inning looked like it would be just enough offense to get the Jays the win, until Jordan Romano blew the save in the ninth. Bichette is finally catching fire at the plate, hitting safely in six straight games and batting .435 (10-for-23) over that stretch with a double, a homer, a steal, three runs and four RBI. • Sitting Wednesday
Adell isn't in the Angels' lineup for Wednesday's game versus St. Louis, Rhett Bollinger of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Adell will sit out the series finale after going 1-for-7 with a run scored and two strikeouts through the first two games. While he rests, Kevin Pillar will fill the open spot in right field while batting fifth. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 3:51 pm
