Advice: Busch gave Chicago its first lead with a two-run blast to center field in the sixth inning. It was his first long ball over his past 17 contests and just his second across his past 32 games. Busch began the campaign with six homers through 16 contests, so the fact that he's still yet to reach double digits in that category emphasizes the extent to which he's slowed down. Crushed in short outingGray (2-3) allowed nine runs on 11 hits in three-plus innings Monday, striking out two and taking a loss against the Mets.
Advice: Gray never found his footing Monday and the Mets took advantage. Most of the damage came during a six-run second inning and his night was finished after allowing a two-run shot to Brandon Nimmo in the fourth. Gray had allowed nine earned runs over his previous 50 innings before Monday's brutal outing. His season ERA shot up from 2.17 to 3.31 as a result. Gray's next outing is projected to be in Milwaukee. Gray hammered in loss to Mets MondayJon Gray allowed nine runs in three innings and took the loss against the Mets on Sunday.
Advice: Gray gave up 11 hits, walked none and struck out two. Ouch. Gray’s ERA jumped up from 2.17 to 3.31 with this blow up. He probably didn’t deserve that 2.17 ERA to begin with given his xFIP was 3.52 entering Monday’s start. The 32-year-old right-hander will look to bounce back against the Royals at home this weekend.

Advice: The veteran slugger got the scoring started for the Phillies in the third inning with a two-run blast off Randy Vasquez and later added another two-run homer off Adrian Morejon in the sixth. It was Schwarber's second multi-HR game this season and the 28th of his career. Schwarber batted .179 in his first seven games of June, but he's found his power stroke of late with five homers over his last seven contests. Kyle Schwarber homers twice, Phillies rout PadresKyle Schwarber launched a pair of two-run homers on Monday, leading the Phillies to a 9-2 blowout victory over the Padres.
Advice: Schwarber went deep off Padres starter Randy Vásquez deep in the third inning before taking reliever Adrian Morejon out a couple frames later to record his third multi-homer performance of the season. It’s the second time in the last week that he’s accomplished the feat. Making rehab start WednesdayPadres manager Mike Shildt said that Darvish (groin) will make a rehab start Wednesday with High-A Fort Wayne, Dennis Lin of The Athletic reports.
Advice: The upcoming rehab start will take a potential return from the 15-day injured list off the table this week, but Darvish shouldn't need more than one tune-up outing in the minors before slotting back into the San Diego rotation. Darvish previously bypassed a rehab assignment when he was on the IL earlier this season due to neck tightness, but the Padres will act more cautiously with the right-hander this time around while he works his way back from a left groin strain that has thus far kept him out for three weeks. Advice: Kremer spotted 37 of his 59 pitches in the rehab outing, his first since he was placed on the 15-day injured list May 21 with a right tricep strain. The Orioles haven't decided on Kremer's next step, but since teams typically want rehabbing starters to hit the 70-to-75-pitch mark prior to being activated, the right-hander could be in line for one more start with Norfolk or another affiliate during the upcoming week.
