    • Fills box score in win
Langeliers went 3-for-5 with a solo home run, an additional RBI and a stolen base in Friday's 9-4 win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Langeliers entered Friday 0-for-12 with five strikeouts over his last three games. After striking out in his first at-bat, he snapped the slump with an RBI single in the third inning and added a solo shot in the ninth. The catcher is up to a .205/.259/.439 slash line with 15 homers, 41 RBI, 26 runs scored and three stolen bases over 266 plate appearances this season, with three of his homers and 12 of his RBI coming over 20 contests in June. • Ends power drought Friday
McNeil went 3-for-4 with a three-run home run and a second run scored in Friday's 7-2 win over the Astros.

Advice: The second baseman took Ronel Blanco deep in the sixth inning, the third of three Mets homers on the night. It was McNeil's first long ball since May 22, snapping a 23-game power outage, and the performance was his first three-hit game since May 7. He'll need more than one good game to earn the trust of fantasy GMs again, however -- on the season, McNeil is slashing a feeble .212/.283/.312 with four home runs, four steals, 19 RBI and 31 runs in 72 contests. • Shea Langeliers homers, steals bag in victory
Shea Langeliers homered and stole a base in the Athletics’ 9-4 win over the Diamondbacks on Friday.

Advice: Langeliers isn’t exactly known for his speed, but he was able to procure his third steal of the season. The power is a little more readily apparent, and he hit one of three homers in the ninth inning for the A’s to give him 15 on the year and Oakland an 8-4 lead. Langeliers will never be a big helper in the average category, but there just might be enough run-production to make him a starting fantasy catcher someday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:19 pm
    • Collects three RBI in win
Ozuna went 1-for-2 with a double, three RBI and a run scored in Friday's 6-1 victory over Pittsburgh.

Advice: The veteran designated hitter faced Martin Perez in the third inning with the bases loaded and laced a bases-clearing double to push Atlanta's lead to 4-0. Ozuna keeps his hot June cooking as he entered slashing .286/.369/.505 with five homers, 15 runs scored and 15 RBI over 103 plate appearances before this performance. The 33-year-old looks bound for his third All-Star appearance, as he's hitting .304 with 21 homers, 47 runs scored and 67 RBI total this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:45 pm

    • Carves up Pirates in victory
Morton (5-4) earned the win Friday against Pittsburgh, throwing 6.1 scoreless innings with seven strikeouts. He allowed three hits and one walk.

Advice: The 40-year-old looked sharp over a 104-pitch outing, generating 15 whiffs -- including seven on his curveball alone -- to collect seven punchouts. Morton wrapped a successful June, firing a 3.10 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 28:13 K:BB across 29 innings. The Atlanta right-hander is slated to face the Giants at home in his next start. • Jeff McNeil gets right with three hits, home run
Jeff McNeil went 3-for-4 with a three-run homer and two runs scored in the Mets’ 7-2 win over the Astros on Friday.

Advice: McNeil has been waiting all season for a game like this. The home run was his first at Citi Field since September 24th of last year and oddly his first long ball this season outside the state of Ohio. The signs of life are encouraging, but McNeil’s batting average still sits at a lowly .221. Even a minor hot streak would make him worth a look in deeper leagues since the Mets continue to start him every day. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:22 pm

    • Charlie Morton excellent against Pirates in win
Charlie Morton held the Pirates scoreless through 6 1/3 innings on Friday in a 6-1 win. He struck out seven and walked one.

Advice: Morton made his old team pay on Friday night as he dropped curveball after curveball on Pittsburgh’s lineup. This was also the first time Morton walked one or fewer since May 10th against the Mets (pre-Grimace) as he flashed especially good command with his sparsely thrown cutter. • Kyle Schwarber goes on 10-day IL with groin strain
Phillies placed DH Kyle Schwarber on the 10-day injured list with a left groin strain.

Advice: With Schwarber out, the Phillies have Bryson Stott leading off and Nick Castellanos DHing tonight. Whit Merrifield is playing left field, with Brandon Marsh suffered to right. It could be a common arrangement until Schwarber gets back. The Phillies are hoping he’ll miss the minimum 10 days, though they could always be cautious and hold him out through the break. • Report: Kyle Schwarber to go on IL due to groin
The Phillies are planning to put Kyle Schwarber on the IL with what they’re terming a mild groin strain.

Advice: They’re hopeful he’ll return after 10 days. Darick Hall could be the callup in Schwarber’s place, but he’s had a disappointing season in Triple-A. Whit Merrifield figures to get some chance to prove his worth while Schwarber is out; if he doesn’t pick it up, he could be bounced from the Phillies roster after the break.
