    • Drives offense in big win
Bichette went 2-for-4 with a walk, two doubles, two runs scored and an RBI in Saturday's 7-0 win over the A's.

Advice: The shortstop is heating up again, collecting four doubles among his seven hits over the last six games. Bichette's sluggish start to the season is fading in the rearview mirror -- over his last 24 contests, he's batting .302 (29-for-96) with two homers, eight doubles, eight runs and 14 RBI. • Limits Rays to one hit
Bradish (2-0) earned the win over Tampa Bay on Saturday, allowing one hit and no walks while striking out nine batters over six scoreless innings.

Advice: Bradish was given two extra days of rest after struggling against the Rays in his previous start, and the extra time off proved to be a remedy to getting him back on the track. The right-hander allowed an infield single to the first batter he faced in the outing, then retired the final 18 hitters to step up to the plate against him. Bradish is still easing his way back after missing the first month of the campaign due to an elbow injury, which explains why he was pulled after just 88 pitches, but that was enough for him to pick up both his second win and second quality start. If he returns to pitching on a regular five-day schedule, Bradish is next lined up for a tough road matchup against Atlanta. Rotowire.com 50 minutes ago

    • Clayton Kershaw tabbed for one more simulated game
Clayton Kershaw (shoulder) is scheduled to throw one more three-inning simulated game before beginning a minor league rehab assignment.

Advice: Kershaw threw a two-inning simulated game at Single-A Rancho Cucamonga on Friday without any issue, touching 90 mph during the session. If all goes well with his next simulated game, he would then be cleared to start a minor league rehab assignment. He still looks to be on track for a return around the All-Star break. • Bradish dominates the Rays for six innings
Kyle Bradish threw six shutout innings and got the win in the Orioles’ 5-0 victory over the Rays on Saturday.

Advice: Bradish gave up one hit, walked none and struck out nine. He was outstanding as he bounced back from a rough last start. Bradish recorded 14 whiffs and had a 34 percent CSW. He’s now won two of his last three starts. If Bradish can stay healthy for the rest of the year, he’ll be one of the best pitchers in fantasy. The 27-year-old right-hander is set to face the Braves at home next week. Rotoworld Today, 4:09 pm

    • David Bednar strikes out two in scoreless inning
David Bednar struck out two batters in a scoreless ninth inning against the Twins on Saturday.

Advice: The Pirates plated three runs in the bottom of the eighth to go up by four, putting a save situation out of reach for Bednar, who took over to close it out in the top of the ninth. He worked around a base hit, striking out two in a scoreless frame. The 29-year-old right-hander has been excellent after a slow start. He’s allowed just three runs over 17 1/3 innings since the start of May while converting eight of his 13 saves. Rotoworld Today, 4:00 pm
    • One more sim game before assignment
Kershaw will throw a three-inning simulated game next week then start a rehab assignment, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports Saturday.

Advice: Kershaw completed a two-inning sim game Friday -- his second simulated game of June -- and will throw another one next week before being sent off to a rehab assignment. The veteran lefty touched 90 mph Friday and is ahead of schedule in his recovery from a shoulder surgery in November. Still, Kershaw will likely require a handful of rehab starts before rejoining the big-league roster, making a July return feasible. Rotowire.com Today, 3:27 pm

    • Battling back soreness
Marte was scratched from Arizona's lineup Saturday due to lower-back soreness, Jody Jackson of Bally Sports Arizona reports.

Advice: Marte appeared to tweak something in his back during Friday's contest, and he'll sit down Saturday as a precaution. He is available off the bench, however, so his injury likely isn't a major issue. Blaze Alexander will start at second base and bat sixth. Rotowire.com Today, 2:43 pm

    • Scratched from lineup
Marte (undisclosed) was scratched from Arizona's lineup ahead of Saturday's game versus the Padres.

Advice: The Diamondbacks have not yet provided a reason for Marte's removal from the lineup, but they should offer some clarity relatively soon. Blaze Alexander will enter as the replacement second baseman while batting sixth. Rotowire.com Today, 1:27 pm

    • Ketel Marte (back) scratched from D’Backs’ lineup
Ketel Marte (back) was scratched from the Diamondbacks’ starting lineup for Saturday’s showdown against the Padres.

Advice: Marte appeared to tweak his back during his final at-bat on Friday night and that seems to be the reason that he was scratched from Saturday’s lineup. The fact that he was in the initial lineup is at least encouraging though, so he should be considered day-to-day until we hear otherwise. Rotoworld Today, 1:27 pm
