    • Out of Sunday's lineup
Gorman is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.

Advice: Gorman is 1-for-17 with four walks and five strikeouts over his past six games, and he'll receive a day to reset Sunday. Jose Fermin is starting at the keystone and batting eighth in the series finale versus Chicago. Rotowire.com Today, 10:51 am

    • Nolan Gorman goes 0-for-3 against Tigers
Nolan Gorman went 0-for-3 in the loss to the Tigers on Wednesday, dropping his average to .190.

Advice: Statcast thinks Gorman has been fairly unlucky, but his strikeout rate remains terrible and he’s not hitting the ball hard as consistently as he did last year. The Cardinals should stick with him for now, but they might consider sending him down if he’s still not hitting once Tommy Edman returns. Rotoworld Wednesday, 1:08 pm

Garcia went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored in Tuesday's 4-1 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Garcia has hit safely in five straight games, going 8-for-22 (.364) with two steals, four RBI and four runs scored in that span. He continues to improve at the plate as he shakes off a slow start to the campaign. Overall, the 24-year-old is slashing .231/.280/.388 with four home runs, 20 RBI, 15 runs scored and eight steals through 30 contests this season. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 11:45 pm

    • Belts homer in win
De La Cruz went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Monday in a 5-2 victory against the Padres.

Advice: De La Cruz set the Reds on a positive path with his massive 443-foot solo shot to center field in the first inning. The long ball snapped a four game-stretch during which the dynamic young shortstop didn't knock any extra-base hits and went just 1-for-13 at the plate, though he did maintain valuable production with three thefts during that span. De La Cruz has been one of baseball's most impressive performers early in the campaign, slashing .280/.390/.590 with eight home runs, 19 RBI, 26 runs and a league-leading 18 stolen bases through 118 plate appearances. • Maikel Garcia picks up hit in loss
Maikel Garcia went 1-for-4 with a double in loss to the Tigers.

Advice: It wasn’t a tremendous performance from Garcia, but the Royals had just four hits on the day. The double gave Garcia a hit in eight of his last 10 games to up his slash line to .223/.276/.384. If he was dropped after his cold stretch, you should be adding him because the 24-year-old remains a talented hitter who will play every day in Kansas City. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:46 pm

    • One steal, two RBI in loss
Garcia went 2-for-5 with two RBI, a stolen base and one run scored in Saturday's 6-5 loss to the Tigers.

Advice: Garcia struggled in the middle of April, but he's now logged four multi-hit efforts over his last five games. He's added three steals and five RBI in that span while continuing to sit atop the Royals' order. The third baseman is slashing .222/.277/.380 with four home runs, seven steals, 20 RBI and 13 runs scored over 27 contests this season. Rotowire.com Sunday, 9:55 am

    • Maikel Garcia plates two, steals base in loss
Maikel Garcia went 2-for-5 with a pair of RBI and a stolen base as the Royals fell to the Tigers on Saturday evening in Motown.

Advice: Garcia led off the game with a single off of Casey Mize and came around to score the game’s first run on an RBI ground ball off the bat of Vinnie Pasquantino. He then drove in a run with an RBI single in the second inning and swiped second base before being stranded there. The 24-year-old third baseman also plated a run with a ground ball in the ninth inning. With his two-hit attack, he’s now hitting .222/.277/.380 with four homers, 20 RBI and seven stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Saturday, 6:11 pm

    • Swipes two bags
De La Cruz went 0-for-2 with two walks, stole two bases and scored a run in Cincinnati's loss to Texas on Friday.

Advice: Despite not being able to tally a base hit during Friday's game, De La Cruz was able to make his presence felt by drawing a walk in the first inning and eventually stealing home to score Cincinnati's first and only run of the game. He walked again and stole second base in the fifth inning, giving him an MLB-best 17 thefts on the season. Along with his exceptional baserunning, the 22-year-old infielder has been outstanding at the plate, slashing .299/.419/.621 with seven homers and 18 RBI through his first 105 plate appearances.
