    • Three straight multi-hit games
Diaz went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk and two RBI on Sunday against the Mets.

Advice: Diaz is hitting just .235 across his 150 plate appearances of the season, though his results have begun to turn around of late. Sunday marked his third straight start with two hits, and he also has a double, four RBI and a run scored in that span. Diaz has only two barrels in 114 batted ball events to begin the season, though he should continue to see hits fall in at an increased clip as he's maintained a 15.3 percent strikeout rate -- in line with his career norm. • Yandy Díaz goes 0-for-5 in loss to Brewers
Yandy Díaz finished 0-for-5 in the loss to the Brewers on Wednesday.

Advice: Díaz did reach on an error, but he was credited with four groundouts and one flyout today. His groundball rate is currently checking in at 62%, well above his already problematic career mark of 53%. Hopefully, it’s something he can straightened out in the next few weeks. If not, it looks like we’re back to the Díaz of 2019-21, when he was a valuable major leaguer but one without much to offer in fantasy leagues. Rotoworld Wednesday, 1:49 pm

    • Getting breather Wednesday
Turner is out of the lineup for Wednesday's tilt versus the Royals.

Advice: It's a routine maintenance day for Turner, who hit two home runs in the series opener Monday before going hitless Tuesday. Daniel Vogelbach will serve as the designated hitter Wednesday and also occupy the cleanup spot. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 8:06 am

    • Clubs pair of homers
Turner went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run and a solo home run during Monday's 6-5 win over the Royals.

Advice: Turner dominated Royals starter Jonathan Bowlan -- who was making his second career start -- notching home runs off him in the first and third innings. The contest doubled Turner's 2024 home run total and was his first multi-homer game since June of 2023. Through 28 games, Turner is slashing .311/.390/.533 with 15 RBI and 15 runs scored. • Justin Turner homers twice in win vs. Royals
Justin Turner went 2-for-5 with two home runs and three RBI in Monday’s 6-5 win against the Royals.

Advice: Turner has dominated the Royals this season. In five games against Kansas City this season, Turner is 6-for-14 (.429 AVG) with two homers and four RBI. It was the 39-year-old’s first multi HR game since last June when he hit two round trippers against the Yankees. Turner is boasting a .923 OPS through 28 games this season and if he’s producing like this, he’ll be a great addition to fantasy managers given he wasn’t much of a hot commodity heading into the season. • Back in action Sunday
Diaz (finger) is starting at first base and batting leadoff Sunday against the White Sox, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Advice: The 32-year-old sat out Saturday after being hit by a pitch in the left pinky finger Friday, but he'll rejoin the starting nine after missing just one game. Diaz is hitting .324 in his past nine contests, though he's slugging just .378 during that stretch and has not hit a home run since Opening Day. Rotowire.com Apr 28, 9:04 am

    • Yandy Diaz returns to lineup from hand injury
Yandy Diaz is leading off and playing first base against the White Sox on Sunday.

Advice: Diaz was held out of the lineup for Saturday’s contest after he plunked in the hand Friday by a 99 mph pitch from Michael Kopech. Austin Shenton will move back to the designated hitter spot with Diaz back in action for Sunday’s affair. Rotoworld Apr 28, 8:45 am

    • Available Saturday
Diaz (hand) is not in the starting lineup but is available as a pinch hitter for Saturday's game against the White Sox, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Advice: Diaz left Friday's game after taking a 99-mph fastball off his left pinky in the eighth inning. X-rays came back negative, and while he won't start Saturday, he will be available should the Rays need a right-handed bat. With Diaz in the dugout, lefty-hitting Austin Shenton will start at first base and bat in the cleanup spot against White Sox right-hander Jonathan Cannon. Rotowire.com Apr 27, 1:55 pm

    • Yandy Diaz (hand) held out of lineup on Saturday
Yandy Diaz (hand) was held out of the Rays’ starting lineup for Saturday’s contest against the White Sox.

Advice: The hard-hitting 32-year-old infielder was drilled in the hand by a 99.3 mph fastball from Michael Kopech on Friday night. While he was fortunate to avoid any fractures in the ordeal, he’s still dealing with some soreness and swelling and may need to miss a couple of games even if he does avoid a trip to the injured list. Austin Shenton will start in his place at first base and bat cleanup against Jonathan Cannon and the White Sox. Rotoworld Apr 27, 1:54 pm
