    • Homers, drives in four in win
Martinez went 2-for-4 with a home run, four RBI and two runs scored in Friday's 11-1 victory over the Cubs.

Advice: Martinez opened the scoring with a three-run home run off Shota Imanaga in the first inning, and he then added an RBI single in the fourth. Martinez went 1-for-10 in a quiet series against the Rangers earlier this week but continued a nice June, as he's now hitting .297 with four home runs and 17 RBI in 64 at-bats. On the season, he owns a .287 average with nine homers and 31 RBI in 178 at-bats. Rotowire.com Today, 3:13 pm

    • J.D. Martinez homers, drives in four in rout
J.D. Martinez delivered a three-run homer and an RBI single Friday as the Mets torched the Cubs 11-1.

Advice: Martinez is 11-for-27 with four homers, three doubles and 12 RBI in his last eight games. His current .870 OPS is practically a match for his career mark of .873, but it’s especially impressive given the current conditions, especially for a Mets hitter. Unfortunately, he’s probably going to lose his streak of five straight All-Star appearances, unless maybe the NL carries a third DH alongside Shohei Ohtani and Marcell Ozuna. • Corbin Carroll gets a day off on Thursday
Corbin Carroll is not in the Diamondbacks lineup on Thursday against the Nationals.

Advice: Carroll has turned things around a bit in June, hitting .290 over 16 games with four steals and 17 runs scored. However, the power is not coming back yet. He has zero home runs in June and has just five RBI now that he has moved back up in the lineup for the Diamondbacks. You’re certainly not mad at his stats this month, but there shouldn’t be an expectation that the power will reemerge. Randal Grichuk will start in right field against a left-handed pitcher with Jake McCarthy moving over to center field. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:51 am

    • Swipes second bag
Robert went 2-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base Wednesday against the White Sox.

Advice: Robert has popped five home runs in 14 games since returning from the injured list, but he's otherwise been a poor source of fantasy value. He has a 39.3 percent strikeout in that span and is hitting just .184. Positively, Robert did swipe his first base since returning and his second of the season. • Day off versus left-hander
Carroll is absent from the lineup for Thursday's game against the Nationals.

Advice: Carroll has finally heated up at the dish in reaching base 25 times while adding four stolen bases over his last 12 contests. He'll get some rest Thursday, however, as the Nationals send tough left-hander MacKenzie Gore to the hill. Additionally, Carroll recently overcame a left side injury, so the Diamondbacks were presumably keen on giving him some maintenance. Jake McCarthy will play center field in Thursday's series finale. • Moves up order against lefty
Carroll batted second and went 1-for-4 with a double in Wednesday's 3-1 loss to the Nationals.

Advice: Carroll had been dropped to the lower third of the order against left-handers a couple of weeks ago, but he was moved back to the top third Wednesday. A 12-game stretch during which he slashed .340/.446/.511 may have influenced manager Torey Lovullo's decision to get Carroll higher in the order. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:20 am

    • Active in return
Carroll went 2-for-3 with two walks, a triple, a stolen base and a caught stealing in Tuesday's 5-0 win over the Nationals.

Advice: Carroll was removed from Sunday's game with discomfort in his left side, but he was ready to go Tuesday after an MRI came back clean. He led off the game with a walk, stole second base, then trotted in on Ketel Marte's home run. Carroll later tripled and scored on a sacrifice fly. The 2023 NL Rookie of the Year's season-opening slump has started to lift; he's 16-for-47 (.340) with four doubles, two triples, nine walks, four steals and 16 runs scored over the last 12 games. • Ends power drought
Yelich went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 6-3 win over the Angels.

Advice: Yelich opened the scoring with a first-inning homer, his first long ball since May 29. Power has been the only missing element for the veteran outfielder in June -- he's batting .322 (19-for-59) this month, but with just two extra-base hits and five RBI over 16 contests. For the year, Yelich is slashing .324/.400/.506 with seven homers, 32 RBI, 25 runs scored and 14 stolen bases over 200 plate appearances in what's shaping up to be his best campaign since 2019. • Carroll has two-hit night in win over Nationals.
Corbin Carroll went 2-for-3 with a triple and an RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Nationals.

Advice: Carroll tripled in the fifth inning to score Geraldo Perdomo from second and later scored on a sacrifice fly by Ketel Marte. After a slow start to the season, Carroll has hit much better this month. While he’s still looking for his first homer in June, he’s slashing a solid .293/.406/.431 with six extra base hits and 10 walks. Rotoworld Tuesday, 6:20 pm
