    • Ezequiel Tovar homers, drives in three vs. Twins
      Ezequiel Tovar launched a three-run homer on Tuesday in the Rockies’ win over the Twins.

      Advice: Tovar’s three-run homer in the top of the sixth broke a scoreless tie in what had been a pitcher’s duel through the first five innings. The 408-foot blast marked Tovar’s 11th homer of the season and pushed his RBI total to 31 on the year.       Advice: Tovar kicked off the scoring in the first inning with an RBI single to left field. That was just the beginning of a massive performance by the young shortstop -- he added a solo homer in the sixth and a tiebreaking two-run shot in the seventh. The four-hit game was Tovar's second of the campaign, and he finished with his second multi-homer performance of the season.
