    • Long starting streak comes to end
Castro is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Rays.

Advice: For the first time since April 15, Castro will head to the bench, ending a streak of 59 consecutive starts. Though he opened the season in a utility role, Castro has solidified an everyday role thanks to his positional versatility and solid production at the plate. Austin Martin will enter the lineup at second base in place of Castro, who has been dialed in of late with a .368/.429/.605 slash line to go with one home run, six doubles, one stolen base, nine runs and four RBI over his last nine starts. • Taking seat Wednesday
Rafaela is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.

Advice: Rafaela will get his first day off since May 30, clearing the way for Romy Gonzalez to pick up a start in center field. Though he's cobbled together a modest .687 OPS for the season, Rafaela has been running hot of late at the dish, slashing .468/.490/.596 with four extra-base hits and two stolen bases over his last 12 games. • Sizzling bat continues in win
Rafaela went 3-for-4 with a double, a stolen base and an RBI in Tuesday's 4-3 win over Toronto.

Advice: Rafaela drove in the game-winning run with an eighth-inning single. The rookie's bat continues to sizzle; Rafaela has hit safely in seven consecutive games, including multiple hits in six of those contests. He's 16-for-26 (.615) with three doubles, a home run, two steals, four RBI and six runs scored during the streak. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 5:51 am

    • Willi Castro plates three in victory over Rays
Willi Castro doubled twice and finished with three RBI on Tuesday, leading the Twins to a 7-6 victory over the Rays.

Advice: Castro put Minnesota ahead briefly in a topsy-turvy marathon at Target Field with a bases-clearing double in the fourth inning off Rays starter Aaron Civale. He also recorded another double and walked in this one, reaching base safely in three of his five plate appearances out of the leadoff spot. The 27-year-old has been locked-in at the dish over the last few days, hitting .379 (11-for-29) with one homer and one steal over his last seven games. Rotoworld Wednesday, 3:20 am

    • Rafaela has three-hit night in win over Blue Jays
Ceddanne Rafaela went 3-for-4 and a double and one RBI in Tuesday’s win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: The Red Sox’s No. 9 hitter came up big on Tuesday as his third hit drove in the go-ahead run to complete the comeback over the Jays. Rafaela has been hot of late, hitting in seven straight games while going 16-for-26 over that span. He’s slashing a solid .377/.406/.475 in June but continues to strike out at a high rate (32.8 percent) when he’s not getting on base. We’ll see how long this hot-hitting continues for the young centerfielder. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:44 pm

    • Lands on injured list
The Blue Jays placed Bichette on the 10-day injured list Tuesday, retroactive to June 15, with a right calf strain.

Advice: The 26-year-old hasn't seen the field since Friday due to the calf issue and will be sidelined for at least another week after being diagnosed with a strain. According to Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca, manager John Schneider expects Bichette to return from the injured list when first eligible June 25. Isiah Kiner-Falefa is starting at shortstop Tuesday and could operate as Toronto's primary option there for the immediate future, and Orelvis Martinez was called up and should also see infield action while Bichette is sidelined. • Blue Jays place Bo Bichette on IL with calf strain
Blue Jays placed INF Bo Bichette on the 10-day injured list with a right calf strain.

Advice: Bichette has been dealing with soreness in his right calf, and rather than wait for the infielder to get ready and play short-handed, the Blue Jays will take precaution and place the star shortstop on the injured list. He’ll miss at least a week, but a more concrete timeline should be available shortly. In the meantime, Orelvis Martinez is taking Bichette’s place on the active roster. Rotoworld Tuesday, 12:23 pm

    • Bo Bichette (calf) remains out of lineup vs. BOS
Bo Bichette (calf) is not in the starting lineup for Tuesday’s contest against the Red Sox.

Advice: Bichette has not been able to play since Friday due to soreness in his right calf. The shortstop has reportedly made progress, but not enough to get him back in the lineup just yet. Isiah Kiner-Falefa gets another start at shortstop with Bichette out. Rotoworld Tuesday, 12:07 pm

    • Rafaela has two hits, home run in win Monday
Ceddanne Rafaela went 2-for-3 with a walk, two runs scored and a solo home run against the Blue Jays on Monday.

Advice: Rafaela’s home run was his eighth of the season. Despite hitting ninth regularly, he’s up to 40 RBI on the season, which leads the team. Rafaela’s only hitting .243, but his counting numbers show he’s been a very productive player this year. Rotoworld Monday, 7:18 pm
