    • Rafael Devers powers Red Sox past Yankees Sunday
      Rafael Devers blasted a pair of solo home runs on Sunday night, powering the Red Sox to a 3-0 victory and a series win over the Yankees in New York.

      Advice: With the two bitter rivals mired in a scoreless tie heading to the seventh inning, Devers finally broke through as he lined a 2-2 fastball from Luis Gil over the wall in left-center for a 373-foot (103.8 mph EV) solo shot. He then crushed a 423-foot (107.0 mph EV) bomb off of Michael Tonkin in the ninth that made it 3-0. The 27-year-old All-Star third baseman also singled in the ballgame, finishing the night 3-for-4.       Grayson Rodriguez fanned eight while allowing three runs over six innings as the Orioles topped the A’s 6-3 on Sunday.

      Langford went 4-for-5 with a double, one RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's 13-2 win over the Rays.

      Advice: This was Langford's second four-hit game over his last seven contests after he hit for the cycle last Sunday. The outfielder is 12-for-26 (.462) in that span, and he's also added a 4:6 BB:K. It's taken him some time, but it appears he's found some consistency at the plate midway through his rookie year.       Diaz (3-1) got the win during Sunday's 3-2 victory over the Pirates but also blew the save. He did not allow a run on one hit, one walk and one strikeout over 1.1 innings.

      Advice: With the Mets leading 1-0, Diaz entered the game with two outs in the eighth and allowed a walk and the go-ahead hit. After Francisco Lindor gave his team the lead, Diaz came back out and pitched a clean ninth to pick up his third win. The 30-year-old returned from his 10-game suspension on Saturday, and he picked up the save.       Advice: Lindor delivered a clutch hit off Aroldis Chapman with the bases loaded and two outs in the ninth to give his team the win on Sunday. Lindor continues his resurgence over the last two months, hitting .277/.335/.492 with 10 homers, 34 RBI and 12 stolen bases over his last 58 games.       Francisco Lindor went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI, a run scored, and a walk in the Mets’ dramatic 3-2 win over the Pirates.

      Advice: Lindor had another fantastic game. His two-run single in the ninth inning off of Aroldis Chapman put the Mets ahead after just falling behind in the eighth inning. He continues to stack games like this one and his full-season slash line has ticked up to .250/.316/.447 with 26 doubles, 15 homers, and 16 stolen bases after a miserable start to the season.       Edwin Díaz worked 1 1/3 innings on Sunday against the Pirates. He allowed one hit, one walk, struck out one batter, blew the save, and wound up with the win.

      Advice: Back from suspension, Díaz was tasked with a four-out save pitching on back-to-back days. He walked the first batter he saw and allowed both of his inherited runners to score. Then, the Mets grabbed the lead and he came back out to pitch a scoreless ninth inning. Díaz clearly isn’t the same pitcher he was in 2022, but the Mets have absolute trust in him as their closer.       Advice: Jeffers has moved into a timeshare with Christian Vazquez, as neither of the two has started consecutive games since Jeffers served as a designated hitter June 1 in Houston before working behind the plate a day later in the series finale.
