With just two multi-hit efforts in June, Ward has been a bit disappointing after he started the season in good form at the plate. He's slashing .240/.325/.419 with 12 home runs, three steals, 38 RBI and 35 runs scored over 73 contests, but just one of those long balls, but he has just three extra-base hits in June.       Taylor Ward stole a base and drove home the game-winning run in the 10th against the Dodgers on Friday.

      Advice: Ward untied the game with an RBI single in the top of the 10th off Evan Phillips to give the Angels the lead and the (surprising) victory. The stolen base was just the third of the year for the 30-year-old outfielder.       Wyatt Langford went 2-for-4 with a double and a pair of RBI on Friday evening as the Rangers triumphed over the Royals.

      Advice: Langford got the Rangers on the board in the fourth inning with a game-tying RBI double off of Royals’ right-hander Brady Singer. He then tied the game again in the sixth inning with a run-scoring single. The 22-year-old phenom seems to be coming into his own a bit over the past few weeks and is now slashing .249/.309/.349 on the season to go with two long balls, 26 RBI and seven swipes.       McCormick went 1-for-3 with a double, an RBI and a run scored Wednesday against the White Sox.

      Advice: The 29-year-old was in the lineup because Houston was facing lefty Garrett Crochet, though McCormick remains in the small side of a platoon with Trey Cabbage in right field.       Advice: Langford logged an RBI on a bases-loaded hit-by-pitch in the first inning and added a run-scoring single in the sixth. The rookie finished with his sixth multi-hit effort in June and pushed his batting average up to .288 on the month. That's a nice improvement after Langford batted just .222 coming into June, and the added hits have helped him become more of a run producer.       Ian Happ went 2-for-4 with a solo homer on Wednesday in the Cubs’ victory over the Giants.

      Advice: Getting the start in center field and hitting cleanup, Varsho pilfered his third bag in the last 10 games and his eighth of the season in nine attempts. The 27-year-old sports a lopsided .216/.296/.446 slash line on the season with 11 homers, 35 RBI and 40 runs in 69 contests, but his .742 OPS still provides a significant improvement on the Blue Jays' other option in center field, Kevin Kiermaier (.545 OPS).
