    • Sitting again Wednesday
Wong is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Blue Jays, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.

Advice: After making four consecutive starts behind the plate, Wong finds himself on the bench for the second game in a row. Wong still looks to be the Red Sox's No. 1 catcher, but manager Alex Cora may have wanted to reward backup Reese McGuire with another start after he drew two walks in Tuesday's 4-3 win. • J.T. Realmuto (knee) aims to return next month
J.T. Realmuto (knee) told reporters Tuesday that he’s planning to return by next month’s All-Star break.

Advice: Realmuto is roughly one week removed from right knee surgery to repair a meniscus tear and is hoping to get back into game action, barring any setbacks, in the days leading up to the All-Star break, which begins on July 15. It’s not unrealistic to think he’ll be ready to go afterwards, even if he doesn’t meet that aggressive timeline. Rotoworld Tuesday, 5:35 pm

Wong went 2-for-4 with a walk, a triple and three RBI in Sunday's 9-3 win over the Yankees.

Advice: Wong delivered a two-run triple in the seventh inning then singled in a run an inning later. The catcher upped his hit streak to nine games, during which he's 12-for-31 (.387) with six walks, six RBI, one steal and four runs scored. Rotowire.com Monday, 7:15 am

    • Connor Wong smacks two-run triple as Red Sox win
Connor Wong smacked a two-run triple on Sunday night, helping to lead the Red Sox past the visiting Yankees.

Advice: Wong opened the game up in the home half of the seventh inning, smacking an opposite-field two-run triple into the right field corner to increase the Red Sox’ advantage to 7-3. He also drew a walk in the contest, finishing the night 1-for-3. On the season, the 28-year-old backstop is hitting an impressive .330/.395/.456 with five homers, 24 RBI and three stolen bases. • Taking seat Thursday
Wong is not in the lineup for Thursday's game versus the Phillies.

    • J.T. Realmuto to miss one month after knee surgery
Phillies president of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski told reporters J.T. Realmuto will miss roughly one month following right knee surgery.

Advice: Dombrowski added that Realmuto has opted to undergo surgery later this week after playing through a small meniscus tear in his right knee for an unspecified period. Given the timing of the surgery, it sounds like Realmuto has a chance to return shortly after next month’s All-Star break. The 33-year-old backstop has been a central component of Philadelphia’s remarkable start to the year, thanks to his stellar defensive contributions, while also posting a solid .720 OPS with seven homers and one steal through 51 games. • Undergoing meniscus surgery
The Phillies placed Realmuto on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with right knee pain, and he's scheduled to undergo a meniscectomy Wednesday.

Advice: According to Matt Gelb of The Athletic, Realmuto has been playing through the injury for nearly a month, and the Phillies elected to address the injury now rather than attempting to wait things out. Gelb also reports that Realmuto will miss roughly a month, potentially setting him up for a mid-July return from the shelf. Rafael Marchan was called up from Triple-A Lehigh Valley in a corresponding move and should serve as the backup catcher to Garrett Stubbs. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 10:36 am

    • J.T. Realmuto to undergo right knee surgery
Phillies placed C J.T. Realmuto on the 10-day injured list with right knee pain.

Advice: Realmuto will undergo right knee meniscectomy surgery Wednesday in Philadelphia. The catcher will be out indefinitely, but it’s not believed to be a season-ending procedure. While Realmuto is out, the Phillies will likely have Drew Stubbs are their starting backstop, and Rafael Marchan was recalled from Triple-A to take Realmuto’s place on the roster. Even if not a season-ender, this is a blow to fantasy managers and the first-place Phillies, to be sure. Rotoworld Tuesday, 10:34 am
