    • Fans seven in quality start
Houck allowed three runs (two earned) on five hits and a walk over 6.2 innings in a no-decision Monday. He struck out seven during the win against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Houck gave up just one run through six frames before the Blue Jays put two more runs on his final line during their five-run seventh inning. He's produced six quality starts in his last seven outings, giving him 13 through 16 total starts. Houck owns a terrific 2.18 ERA with a 101:18 K:BB through 103.1 frames. His next start is projected to be at home against the Padres. Rotowire.com Monday, 7:22 pm

    • Houck allows two earned runs in no-decision Monday
Tanner Houck allowed three runs (two earned) in 6 2/3 innings and got a no-decision in the Red Sox’ 7-6 victory over the Blue Jays on Monday.

Advice: Houck gave up five hits, walked one and struck out seven. Boston only scored two runs while he was in the game before coming back to win late. Houck’s ERA is now 2.18 on the year and his 101 strikeouts on the season rank inside the top 15 in all of baseball. The 27-year-old right-hander is set to face the Padres at home this weekend.

    • Making another rehab start
Williams (elbow) will make another rehab start with Triple-A Columbus on Wednesday.

Advice: Williams built up to 66 pitches in his most recent rehab outing with Columbus, striking out four over five innings of one-run ball. The Guardians would like him to get stretched out just a bit more before likely reinserting him into their rotation next week. Williams has been out all season with a right elbow injury, which he suffered during a weighted-ball workout in spring training. Rotowire.com Monday, 4:00 pm

    • Escapes with save
Scott allowed two hits and a walk in a scoreless inning Sunday, striking out one and earning a save over the Mariners.

Advice: Scott loaded the bases with two outs but managed to finish off the 6-4 win unscathed. He tossed 16 of 22 pitches for strikes and notched his first save since Jun 11. He blew his last save chance June 13 but has since turned in five straight scoreless innings. Scott has nine saves with a 1.64 ERA and a 35:23 K:BB through 33 innings. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:39 pm
    • Pitches into seventh versus CWS
Olson (2-8) earned the win after he pitched 6.1 innings, surrendering two runs on four hits while striking out three batters in Sunday's 11-2 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Olson tossed six scoreless frames before running into some trouble in the top of the seventh, ultimately exiting the game with one out and runners on second and third. Both runs came around to score on a two-out single by Nicky Lopez off reliever Will Vest. Nonetheless, Olson has now recorded back-to-back quality starts after a three-start stretch during which he gave up 17 earned runs over 14.2 innings to open June. The right-hander will carry a 3.35 ERA into his next projected start on the road against the Angels. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:24 pm

    • Kodai Senga (shoulder) throws live bullpen session
Kodai Senga (shoulder) threw 22 pitches during a successful live bullpen session on Sunday.

Advice: It’s the first time that the 31-year-old hurler has faced live hitters since early May. He’ll repeat the process again at the end of next week, and if all goes well he could finally be cleared to begin what should be a lengthy minor league rehab assignment. If he avoids any further setbacks, he could be ready to join the Mets’ rotation following the All-Star break. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:34 pm

    • Pete Fairbanks perfect in earning 11th save
Pete Fairbanks notched his 11th save with a scoreless ninth versus the Pirates on Sunday.

Advice: Fairbanks struck out one while protecting a two-run lead. The closer had allowed single runs in three of his previous four appearances. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:14 pm
    • Reese Olson pitches into seventh inning in win
Reese Olson allowed two earned runs across 6 1/3 innings on Sunday against the White Sox. He struck out three, walked none, and earned the win.

Advice: Olson was fantastic in this one. He settled into cruise control after being spotted a nine-run lead after in the second inning and both earned runs on his ledger game via inherited runners after he left the game. His slider is simply awesome and the White Sox swung and missed at it 10 times in this one. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:43 pm

    • Tanner Scott stays red-hot with save
Tanner Scott earned the save Sunday over the Mariners after allowing two hits and a walk. He also struck out one batter.

Advice: This was a shaky save for Scott as the Mariners put the tying run in scoring position. Luckily, Otto Lopez snagged a line drive off the bat of Julio Rodríguez that would have tied the game. Scott’s ERA sank to a minuscule 1.64 with this outing. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:25 pm
