    • Sitting Sunday
Contreras isn't in the Brewers' lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres.

Advice: Contreras will get a day to regroup Sunday after posting a .494 OPS through 18 games since the start of June. Gary Sanchez will fill in at catcher and bat eighth. Rotowire.com Today, 11:01 am
    • William Contreras gets day off Sunday vs. Padres
William Contreras is not in the lineup for Sunday’s series finale against the Pirates.

Advice: It appears to be a routine off day for Conteras after handling the catching duties in three consecutive contests. The 26-year-old has put together a phenomenal season so far, batting .293/.354/.443 with nine homers and five steals across 339 plate appearances over 75 contests. It’ll be Gary Sánchez behind the plate in his absence. Rotoworld Today, 10:47 am
    • Fans eight in no-decision
Parker did not factor into the decision in a loss to the Rockies on Saturday, allowing four runs on six hits and two walks over six innings while striking out eight.

Advice: All four runs against Parker came over the first three innings, topped off by a three-run blast from Brendan Rodgers. However, the right-hander would go on to finish strong, striking out the side in the sixth and fanning six of the final 12 batters he faced on the night. Parker matched his season high with eight strikeouts in the contest and he's now gone at least six innings in three of his last four starts, posting a 15:5 K:BB over that stretch. • Placed on IL with hamstring strain
The Yankees placed Stanton on the 10-day injured list Sunday due to a left hamstring strain.

Advice: Stanton exited in the fourth inning of Saturday's 8-3 win over Atlanta after injuring his left hamstring while scoring from second base on a Gleyber Torres double. Trent Grisham came off the bench to replace Stanton on Saturday, and the former could be in line for a near-everyday role in the outfield against right-handed pitching while the Yankees perhaps look to give Aaron Judge and others more time at designated hitter sans Stanton. With Stanton on the IL, the Yankees recalled infielder Oswald Peraza from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre in a corresponding move. Rotowire.com Today, 7:12 am

    • Giancarlo Stanton lands on IL with hamstring strain
Yankees placed OF Giancarlo Stanton on the 10-day injured list with a left hamstring strain.

Advice: Stanton is slated to undergo an MRI on Sunday to determine the severity and how much time he’ll likely wind up sidelined. Fantasy managers should anticipate him missing at least a few weeks, even if it’s a low-grade strain. The 34-year-old slugger, who has 18 homers in 69 games this season, suffered the injury during Saturday’s contest against the Braves. The timing is extremely unfortunate for the Yankees, and fantasy managers, as there isn’t a clear replacement for him at the moment with top prospect Jasson Domínguez on the shelf at Triple-A due to an oblique strain. • Ninth-inning grand slam in loss
Turang went 3-for-4 with a grand slam and a walk in Saturday's loss to the Padres.

Advice: Turang reached base four times in the contest, topping things off with a ninth-inning grand slam to bring Milwaukee back within two runs of the Padres. The grand slam was the second of his career and he's now collected at least one RBI in three consecutive games. Turang has also recorded multiple hits in three straight and is now batting .296 on the campaign with five homers and 31 RBI and 26 stolen bases. Perhaps the only downside is that he's been caught stealing in each of his last three attempts, including twice on Saturday. Rotowire.com Today, 6:36 am

    • Makes splash in Saturday's win
Cruz went 1-for-3 with a walk, a solo home run and a second run scored in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Rays.

Advice: He destroyed the first pitch he saw from Zach Eflin in the first inning, sending the 78.2 mph curveball out of the stadium to right field and straight into the Allegheny River. Per Adam Berry and Justice delos Santos of MLB.com, it's just the sixth time since PNC Park opened that a ball has been hit into the river on the fly. Despite his prodigious physical tools, Cruz is still having trouble producing consistently for the Pirates, but he has stepped things up this month. Through 16 games in June, the 25-year-old is slashing .250/.283/.464 with three homers, one steal, 11 runs and 11 RBI. Rotowire.com Today, 6:18 am

    • Sharp in Saturday's win
Wheeler (9-4) picked up the win in Saturday's 12-1 rout of the Diamondbacks, allowing one run on two hits over seven innings. He struck out eight without walking a batter.

Advice: The right-hander was dominant, generating 31 called or swinging strikes among his 97 pitches as he racked up his sixth quality start in his last seven trips to the mound. Wheeler is 5-1 over that stretch with a 2.96 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 42:13 K:BB through 45.2 innings, and he'll look to stay locked in for his next outing, which is scheduled to come at home next week against the Marlins. • Mitchell Parker whiffs eight in no-decision
Mitchell Parker allowed four runs over six innings on Saturday in a no-decision against the Rockies.

Advice: The positive news here is that Parker notched eight strikeouts and managed to somewhat survive Coors Field’s high-octane offensive environment. He gave up six hits, including a three-run homer to Brendan Rodgers, which accounted for most of the damage against him in this one. He’s been a nice waiver wire addition for fantasy managers in deeper mixed leagues and will bring a respectable 3.30 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 58/17 K/BB ratio across 73 2/3 innings (13 starts) into a road tilt on Friday against the Rays.
