All indications are that Wood is headed to the majors on Monday for his big-league debut when the Nationals kick off a series against the division-rival Mets, but he’s not quite done mashing in the minors just yet. The 21-year-old showed why he’s one of the most exciting prospects in the fantasy landscape in this one by scalding a season-high three doubles on Friday evening to raise his triple-slash line to a sublime .353/.463/.595 with 10 homers and 10 steals across 52 games this season for Triple-A Rochester.       Witt went 1-for-3 with two walks, one stolen base and two runs scored in Friday's 10-3 win over the Guardians.

      Advice: Witt previously went 10 games without a steal and hit just .184 (7-for-38) in that span. While that's a rare cold stretch for the shortstop, he salvaged it by knocking five extra-base hits in that period. Doyle later bagged his team-leading 19th stolen base, marking his fifth straight success since last being caught June 5. Perhaps this performance will spur a hot streak for Doyle , as he entered the game hitting .235 (19-for-81) with just two extra-base hits -- one homer and one double -- across 22 games in June.
