    • Paul Dejong gets a day off on Thursday
Paul Dejong is not in the lineup for the White Sox on Thursday against the Astros.

Advice: Dejong will take a seat with Nicky Lopez sliding over to shortstop and Danny Mendick playing second base. The veteran is having a great month of June, hitting .246 with six home runs, nine runs, and 11 RBI in 17 games. The power is obviously really nice, but the poor team context around him is keeping his counting stats a little low given his home run total. He has also never hit for a high batting average and is still under .250 even with the power, so he’s really just an add if you’re looking for home runs from your middle infield spot. • Getting maintenance day
DeJong is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Astros.

Advice: He'll receive a breather for the day game after a night game, opening up a turn at shortstop for Nicky Lopez. DeJong had started each of the White Sox's previous 21 games and was one of the team's most productive hitters over that stretch, batting .235 with 11 extra-base hits (seven home runs, four doubles), 12 RBI and 10 runs. • Ha-Seong Kim draws rare day off on Tuesday night
Ha-Seong Kim is not in the lineup for Tuesday’s game against the Phillies.

Advice: It’s an extremely rare day off for Kim, who has started every game for San Diego since May 23. The 28-year-old is struggling a little bit over the last few weeks, batting .213 (10-for-47) with two homers and six steals over his last 15 contests. It’ll be Tyler Wade drawing a rare start at shortstop on Tuesday evening against the Phillies. Rotoworld Tuesday, 1:14 pm

    • Gets breather Tuesday
Kim is not in the lineup for Tuesday's contest in Philadelphia.

Advice: It's just the second day off this season for Kim, who is just 4-for-22 across his last eight games. Tyler Wade will receive a start at shortstop Tuesday. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 1:07 pm

    • Homer, two hits in win
DeJong went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Saturday's win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: DeJong put the White Sox ahead with a leadoff home run in the top of the fourth and added a single in the following frame, giving him his second straight multi-hit game. The shortstop is now up to 14 home runs on the campaign, with six of them coming this month and four coming over his last eight games. DeJong has also recorded multiple hits in six of his last nine contests. Rotowire.com Sunday, 8:20 am

    • Clubs homer Tuesday
DeJong went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to the Mariners.

Advice: DeJong is up to 13 homers on the year, six of which he's hit over his last 11 contests. He went back-to-back with Andrew Vaughn in the third inning of Tuesday's contest, though that's where the White Sox's scoring ended. DeJong is up to a .240/.290/.490 slash line with 28 RBI, 28 runs scored, two stolen bases and 11 doubles over 62 contests while seeing a starting role at shortstop. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 10:48 pm
