    • Aaron Judge kicks off June with 464-foot home run
Aaron Judge clobbered a 464-foot two-run homer on Saturday, powering the Yankees to a 7-3 victory over the Giants.

Advice: Judge took Giants ace Logan Webb deep to left-center field in the opening frame for his major league-leading 21st round-tripper of the season. The 32-year-old fantasy superstar became the first hitter this year to reach the 20-homer plateau with a two-home outburst during Friday’s series opener at spacious Oracle Park, finishing the month of May with an astronomical .361/.479/.918 triple-slash line with 14 homers and 27 RBI across 28 games. The Southern California native is clearly enjoying his time back in the Bay Area and finds himself in the midst of one of the hottest stretches of his career with eight homers over his last 10 games since May 22. • Candelario has two-hit game in loss Saturday
Jeimer Candelario went 2-for-5 with an RBI against the Cubs on Saturday.

Advice: It was a relatively quiet night for the Reds offense. Despite scoring five runs, four of them were unearned thanks to an error by Cubs outfielder Seiya Suzuki. Candelario chipped in later with an RBI single. After hitting .189 in April, he hit .247 with three home runs in 24 games in May. Candelario has had a wRC+ of at least 117 in two of the previous three seasons. Look for him to get hot with the bat again soon. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:45 pm

    • Belts 19th long ball
Tucker went 1-for-3 with a solo home run, an additional run and a walk in a 5-2 win against the Twins on Saturday.

Advice: Tucker hit one of four homers against Minnesota starter Joe Ryan with a solo shot in the third inning. It was the 19th long ball of the campaign for the outfielder, second in the majors behind Aaron Judge (21). Tucker is easily on pace to surpass the career-best mark of 30 homers he established in both 2021 and 2022. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:32 pm

    • Keeps power surge going
Judge went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, a walk and two total runs scored in Saturday's 7-3 win over the Giants.

Advice: May is over, but Judge's power surge is still in full effect. He's slugged four homers and added eight RBI over his last three games, and he's up to six homers over eight contests during the Yankees' current road trip through California. Judge has 21 long balls, 47 RBI, 42 runs scored, two stolen bases and a .287/.414/.662 slash line through 60 contests this year, a level of production that should have him firmly in the MVP conversation. • Struggles against Astros
Ryan (4-4) took the loss against Houston on Saturday, allowing five runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out four batters over five innings.

Advice: Ryan was stung by the long ball in the loss, giving up a season-high four homers. He has allowed at least that many home runs in a start four times in his career, though he came into Saturday on pace for a career-best 0.9 HR/9. Ryan saw his season ERA jump from 2.96 to 3.38 as a result of the poor start, but that mark is still on pace for the best of his career. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:50 pm

    • Kyle Tucker homers and walks against Twins
Kyle Tucker homered and walked in a victory for the Astros over the Twins on Saturday.

Advice: Tucker also drew a walk. The 27-year-old is already up to 19 homers on the season with a .976 OPS to pair with them. Even with the Astros having a disappointing 2024 campaign, Tucker has been as good as he’s ever been over the first two-plus months of the campaign. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:03 pm

    • Joe Ryan gives up four homers in loss to Astros
Joe Ryan gave up five runs over five innings while picking up a loss to the Astros on Saturday.

Advice: Ryan gave up eight hits, which is not great, and five of those hits left the park, which is worse. The 27-year-old was coming off an outstanding start against the Royals on Monday. This was anything but. He also walked two and struck out four in one of the worst outings of the season for Ryan. Expect better things for the right-hander against Pittsburgh next week. • Yandy Díaz triples, drives in three in loss
Yandy Díaz went 1-for-4 with a triple and three RBI against the Orioles on Saturday.

Advice: Díaz brought two runs in to score with a line drive off the right field wall as he legged out a triple in the second inning. He was credited with a third RBI after drawing a bases-loaded walk in the third. The 32-year-old first baseman is slashing .243/.320/.350 with four homers and 28 RBI across 253 plate appearances. • Breather Saturday
Kwan is not in the starting lineup Saturday versus Washington.

Advice: Kwan will head to the bench after he went 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored in his return to the lineup Friday after missing nearly four weeks with a hamstring injury. David Fry will slot in at left field while Kyle Manzardo enters the lineup at designated hitter and bats sixth against the Nationals. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:23 am
