    • Sitting versus lefty
Mullins is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Yankees.

Advice: The Yankees are going with southpaw Carlos Rodon as their starting pitcher, so the Orioles have elected to give the left-handed-hitting Mullins a day off. Ryan McKenna will in for Mullins as Baltimore's starter in center field. Rotowire.com Today, 8:10 am
    • Orioles activate Kyle Bradish (elbow) from IL
Orioles activated Kyle Bradish (elbow) from the 15-day injured list.

Advice: Bradish will get his first action on the bump this season against divisional rival New York in the final game of a four-game series. The 27-year-old right-hander has been on the injured list since the start of the regular season and comes back at a good time as the team had to place Grayson Rodriguez on the injured list on Wednesday. If he’s not already on a roster, fantasy managers should pick Bradish up as he can be a valuable starter in all formats. Rotoworld Today, 7:10 am
    • Activated, starting Thursday
The Orioles reinstated Bradish (elbow) from the 15-day injured list and will have him start Thursday's game against the Yankees at Camden Yards.

Advice: Baltimore lost Grayson Rodriguez (shoulder) to the 15-day IL on Wednesday, but they'll add two pitchers back into the rotation this week with Bradish returning Thursday and John Means (elbow) expected to take the hill Friday or Saturday in Cincinnati. Bradish was diagnosed with a sprained UCL in his pitching elbow upon reporting to spring training, but he was able to avoid surgery and has seemingly bounced back from the injury after a lengthy rest and rehab period. He closed his three-start minor-league rehab assignment on a high note last Friday with Triple-A Norfolk, striking out six over five innings and allowing one run on five hits and one walk. He built up to 77 pitches in that outing and should have only a light workload restriction in place Thursday when he makes his 2024 Orioles debut. Bradish emerged as arguably the Orioles' top starter in his second MLB season in 2023, logging a 2.83 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 168:44 K:BB across 168.2 innings. Rotowire.com Today, 7:07 am
    • Cleared to start Saturday
Glasnow (hand) is scheduled to start Saturday's game against Atlanta at Dodger Stadium, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.

Advice: Glasnow experienced hand cramps in his most recent start April 27, but he'll be ready to go on six days' rest in a series featuring two of the National League's top teams. The right-hander has gotten off to an excellent start to his tenure with the Dodgers, going 5-1 with a 2.72 ERA, 0.93 WHIP and 53:12 K:BB across 43 innings through seven outings. • Wins third straight
Ober (3-1) earned the win Wednesday over the White Sox, allowing four runs on six hits while striking out three over six innings.

Advice: After allowing two runs in the opening frame, Ober settled in to hold Chicago to just two more runs over his final five innings en route to a third consecutive winning decision. The four runs were the most Ober's allowed since he was tagged for eight runs in his first start of the year against Kansas City -- he'd held opponents to two runs or fewer in each of his subsequent four outings. Overall, the 28-year-old right-hander sports a 4.55 ERA with a 1.04 WHIP and 28:7 K:BB through 31.2 innings this season. Ober's currently slated for a home matchup with the Mariners in his next turn. • Another lefty pitcher
Muncy is not in the Dodgers' starting lineup Tuesday against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: The third baseman got the start Monday versus Arizona's lefty pitcher Tommy Henry in the first game of the series, but Muncy will begin in the dugout Wednesday for the second straight game against southpaw Jordan Montgomery. Enrique Hernandez will get the start at third and bat fifth in the series finale. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:05 pm

    • Bailey Ober gives up four runs, wins anyway
Bailey Ober won despite allowing four runs in six innings Wednesday against the White Sox.

Advice: It’s Ober’s worst start since he gave up eight runs on March 31, but still not too shabby. He’s sporting a 3-1 record, a 4.55 ERA and an excellent 1.04 WHIP. Next up is a home start versus the Mariners. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:27 pm

    • Orioles place Grayson Rodriguez on 15-day IL
Orioles placed RHP Grayson Rodriguez on the 15-day injured list, retroactive to April 30, with right shoulder inflammation.

Advice: The move comes just two days after Rodriguez’s last start where he allowed zero runs in 5 2/3 innings against the Yankees on Monday. The 24-year-old has posted a 3.71 ERA, 1.41 WHIP with a 37/12 K/BB ratio in his six starts this season. The positive for the Orioles is that the team was able to activate John Means and Kyle Bradish should be back in the rotation soon as well. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:44 am

    • Hits IL with shoulder inflammation
The Orioles placed Rodriguez on the 15-day injured list Wednesday with right shoulder inflammation, Danielle Allentuck of TheBaltimoreBanner.com reports.

Advice: Rodriguez showed no signs of being hindered by an injury in his last start against the Yankees on Monday, striking out three over 5.2 scoreless innings. However, the right-hander's shoulder is evidently bothering him enough that he will miss a least the next two weeks of action. John Means (forearm) was activated from the 15-day IL in a corresponding move and will replace Rodriguez on the 26-man active roster and in the rotation. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:39 am
