The 25-year-old outfielder has been a significant disappointment in 2024, but he’s at least starting to show some pop with three homers in the month of June; all of them coming in the last eight games.       Seth Lugo gave up two runs in six innings to get a win against the Dodgers on Saturday.

      Advice: The victory is already the 10th of the season for Lugo. The right-hander allowed a two-run single to Gavin Lux in the fourth, but outside of that he handled the Dodgers lineup without many issues. He scattered six hits allowed while walking just one and striking out four. Lugo has been excellent in 2024, and it’d be a surprise if he wasn’t an All-Star at this point.       Advice: McCormick didn't start Saturday against right-hander Jack Flaherty. McCormick was still able to make an impact in the lopsided loss with a homer in the seventh inning after replacing Yordan Alvarez in left field. The long ball was McCormick's first of the season, though he's managed three extra-base hits over his last five contests. The 29-year-old is slashing .209/.273/.291 with 12 RBI, 10 runs scored and three stolen bases over 121 plate appearances, and he's unlikely to make a consistent impact while occupying a short-side platoon role. With the Astros' rotation already thin, it's likely Arrighetti sticks around for his next start, which is tentatively scheduled to be a tough home matchup versus the Orioles.
