    • Bo Bichette (calf) felt improvement on Sunday
      Blue Jays’ manager John Schneider told reporters after Sunday’s game that Bo Bichette felt improvement in his injured right calf and may have been available off the bench.

      Advice: When asked about his status going forward, Schneider said, “We’ll see how he is tomorrow. Hopefully it’s not much longer.” It sounds like Bichette is going to avoid a trip to the injured list and should return to the Jays’ lineup in another day or two. Rotoworld 34 minutes ago

    • Megill picks up 13th save against Reds Sunday
      Trevor Megill pitched a scoreless ninth inning and picked up the save against the Reds on Sunday.

      Advice: Megill’s save was his 13th of the year filling in for Devin Williams. In the ninth inning, with two men on and two outs, Megill gave up a single to Santiago Espinal on a line drive to center. However, outfielder Blake Perkins threw out Stuart Fairchild at home to end the game. It ended up being a scoreless inning for Megill, who lowered his ERA to 2.14 on the season.       Royce Lewis went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk against the Athletics on Sunday.



      Advice: Lewis continues to mash the ball since returning from the injured list. He’s now hit six home runs in 42 plate appearances this season. It’s a tiny sample size, but he’s hitting .395 with a .526 ISO on the year.

      Advice: Helsely got into some trouble in the ninth inning and was bailed out by Brendan Donovan who made a catch crashing into the ivy at Wrigley Field to end the game.       Advice: The Yankees announced their rotation for the series against Baltimore. Kind of. Tuesday’s starter will be Nestor Cortes, and Thursday will be Luis Gil. Wednesday has a TBD by it, and it seems possible — if not probable — that it’ll be Cole returning to the rotation. The 2023 Cy Young winner has looked the part in his rehab starts, and while there could be some precautions taken, there’s every reason to believe he’ll be just as fantasy relevant over these three-plus months of 2024.
