      Bryson Stott drove in a pair of runs and swiped two bases as the Phillies fell to the Cardinals in 10 innings on Sunday night.

      Advice: Stott drew a walk off of Lance Lynn in the opening inning and swiped second base, but the Phillies were unable to cash him in. He then tied the game up and chased Lynn with a two-run single in the fifth inning. Stott then deftly nabbed second base again, but the Phillies once again couldn’t score him.       Cole Ragans allowed one run on five hits in six innings in a no-decision against the Padres on Sunday.

      Advice: The left-hander struck out six and walked two on the day while recording 14 whiffs on 46 swings for a 30 percent whiff rate and 27 percent CSW. He had some issues finding the strike zone with his off-speed pitches, but the induced whiffs outside of the zone and the Padres were unable to square him up.       Advice: Gimenez took a seat Saturday against southpaw Mitchell Parker, but the lefty-hitting infielder will remain on the bench for the series finale versus the Nationals even while a right-hander (Jake Irvin) takes the bump for Washington. The Guardians may have just been looking to get an extended break for Gimenez, who had started in every game dating back to May 10 before his back-to-back absences.
