    • Sitting vs. southpaw
Mullins is out of the lineup for Sunday's series finale against the White Sox.

Advice: With the White Sox sending left-hander Garrett Crochet to the mound Sunday, the lefty-hitting Mullins will take a seat for the second straight game. Mullins pinch hit in the seventh inning in Saturday's 5-3 win, striking out in his only at-bat. Rotowire.com Sunday, 9:13 am

    • Cedric Mullins out Sunday against White Sox
Cedric Mullins is out of the lineup Sunday against the White Sox.

Advice: Mullins will get a day of rest with southpaw Garrett Crochet on the mound. Colton Cowser is getting the start in center field and he’ll hit ninth while Mullins gets a break. Rotoworld Sunday, 8:49 am

    • Shohei Ohtani (hamstring) in lineup Sunday vs. CIN
Shohei Ohtani (hamstring) is in the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Reds.

Advice: Ohtani will get the start as he continues to play through the right hamstring contusion. The 29-year-old didn’t look at 100 percent while picking up a triple during Saturday’s contest, but it’s obviously a positive to see that he’s able to play through the issue. • Remains in lineup Sunday
Ohtani will serve as the Dodgers' designated hitter and No. 2 batter in Sunday's game against the Reds.

Advice: Though manager Dave Roberts disclosed after Saturday's 3-1 loss that Ohtani has been managing a bruised hamstring of late, the 29-year-old still served as the Dodgers' DH for all nine innings of the contest, going 1-for-4 with a triple and three strikeouts. According to Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register, Ohtani wasn't running at full speed when he legged out the triple, and while the hamstring issue doesn't look as though it'll cost him any starts, it could result in his stolen-base opportunities being more limited in the short term. Ohtani has gone a perfect 13-for-13 in stolen-base attempts through his first 52 games of the season. Rotowire.com Sunday, 6:41 am

    • Smacks three-run shot
Ward went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Saturday's loss to the Guardians.

Advice: Ward jumped on a four-seamer from Tanner Bibee in the bottom of the third and launched it over the wall in left field for a three-run shot to bring the Angels back within one run of Cleveland. It marked the fourth long ball for the outfielder in his last nine games as well as his first multi-RBI effort this month. Ward is now up to 11 home runs and 32 RBI on the campaign while also hitting safely in eight of his last 10 games. Rotowire.com Sunday, 6:12 am

    • Shohei Ohtani playing through hamstring bruise
Shohei Ohtani is playing through a right hamstring contusion.

Advice: The Athletic’s Fabian Ardaya adds that the Dodgers are managing Ohtani’s lingering issue, which he suffered during their last homestand when he was hit by a pickoff throw, by placing a “governor” on him while running the bases. The restriction became apparent when the 29-year-old cruised around the bases at less than full speed on his sixth-inning triple during Saturday’s contest against the Reds. It doesn’t sound like a serious concern moving forward, but it’s certainly an issue fantasy managers should continue monitoring. Ohtani has been phenomenal in his Los Angeles debut so far, currently leads the majors with a .338 batting average along with 13 homers and 13 steals through 52 games. • Ward hits 11th home run on Saturday
Taylor Ward went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run against the Guardians on Saturday.

Advice: Ward supplied all the offense for the Angels as they lost this one 4-3. The home run was his 11th of the season. After somewhat of a down season last year, Ward has regained his power stroke. His .211 ISO would be a career-high and his .271 average is also solid for the career .257 hitter. • Playing with bruised hamstring
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Saturday that Ohtani has been playing with a bruised right hamstring in recent days, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Ohtani was hit in the leg by a pickoff throw during the team's last homestand and has been instructed to not exert full effort on the bases for the time being. The issue hasn't caused him to miss any games, and at this point, Ohtani doesn't look as though he'll be subject to any days off. Rotowire.com Saturday, 7:25 pm

    • Getting breather Saturday
Diaz isn't in the Rays' lineup Saturday against the Royals.

Advice: Diaz will get a day off Saturday after going 1-for-4 during a loss in Friday's series opener. His absence will allow Jonathan Aranda to start at first base, moving Isaac Paredes into the DH spot while Amed Rosario starts at the hot corner. Rotowire.com Saturday, 12:47 pm
