    • Aaron Judge hits grand slam in loss
Aaron Judge went 2-for-3 with a walk and five RBI in a loss to the Mets on Tuesday.

Advice: Judge had an RBI double in the seventh inning with the Yankees down by seven but then crushed a 390-foot grand slam at 109.4 mph that brought the Yankees within two. While the bottom of the Yankees lineup may not be particularly deep, they still have Aaron Judge, which will always make them a threat. The big right fielder now has 29 home runs and 75 RBI already this season, which seems like video game numbers. You’re feeling great if you were able to take him with your first-round pick. • Kyle Tucker (shin) ‘close’ to resuming running
Kyle Tucker (shin) progressed to taking swings on Sunday and could resume running within the next few days.

Advice: The revelation comes courtesy of a team statement. It’s a welcome relief for fantasy managers as we were honestly starting to wonder whether Tucker was dealing with something more serious than merely a shin contusion. He’ll need at least a couple minor league rehab contests to get back up to speed after he’s ready to get back into game action, but it doesn’t sound like he’s too far away from making it back to Houston. • Takes swings, could run soon
Tucker (shin) took swings off a tee Sunday and could be cleared to begin running soon, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

Advice: Tucker's recovery from a right shin contusion has dragged on longer than anticipated, but it looks like he's finally turned a corner as he resumes baseball activities. He's more than three weeks removed from suffering the injury and still has some hoops to jump through, so he could require a rehab assignment before rejoining the Astros' active roster. • Goes deep in loss
Garcia went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Monday's loss to the Brewers.

Advice: Garcia gave the Rangers a 3-1 lead with his sixth-inning blast, though the advantage was wiped out on a Rhys Hoskins grand slam in the bottom of the frame. As with Hoskins, Garcia's homer ended an extended power drought -- the outfielder hadn't gone deep in any of his past 17 games and had driven in just one run during that span. Garcia is tied for the Rangers' lead with 14 long balls on the season, but he's below pace to match the 39 homers and 107 RBI he racked up last year. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:51 pm

    • Drives in two, swipes bag
Taveras went 2-for-4 with a two-RBI single and a stolen base during Sunday's 4-0 win over the Royals.

Advice: Taveras took part in the Rangers' three-run third inning, plating Nathaniel Lowe and Wyatt Langford on a two-run single with two outs. While he stole second base after the hit, he didn't end up coming around to score. The center fielder has been slumping in June, batting 7-for-61 (.115) with five RBI, five runs scored and a pair of steals. Rotowire.com Sunday, 10:39 pm

    • Leody Taveras has two hits, SB in win
Leody Taveras went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a steal in a 4-0 win over the Royals on Sunday.

Advice: It was a much-needed strong start for Taveras, who is hitting just .215/.280/.329 on the season and is at risk of losing his job when Evan Carter is eligible to return from the IL. Taveras now has seven steals on the season and has gone 4-for-16 in his last four games. He’ll need more than that to keep his playing time during the second half of the season. • Aaron Judge at designated hitter Sunday vs. Braves
Aaron Judge is at designated hitter for Sunday’s series finale against the Braves.

Advice: Judge will likely spend additional time at designated hitter moving forward in the wake of Giancarlo Stanton’s unfortunate hamstring injury. The 32-year-old generational talent slugged his major league-leading 28th home run of the season during Saturday night’s win at Yankee Stadium and is in the midst of one of the best extended stretches of his career. It can only be a positive thing for his immediate health for him to get a break from playing center field everyday, at least for a few weeks leading into next month’s All-Star break. • Serving as DH sans Stanton
Judge will serve as the designated hitter and bat third for Sunday's series finale against Atlanta.

Advice: With Giancarlo Stanton (hamstring) placed on the injured list Sunday, Judge will have more turns at DH while Trent Grisham gets reps in the outfield, per Bryan Hoch of MLB.com. For the month of June, Judge is slashing a blistering .381/.494/.857 with eight home runs and 25 while boasting a 1.351 OPS. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:43 am

    • Still no baseball activity
Tucker (shin) ran on a treadmill Friday but still has not resumed on-field work, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Manager Joe Espada was optimistic that Tucker would ramp up his activity over the weekend, though that has yet to occur. Tucker will likely miss the entirety of Houston's series against the Rockies to start next week. Rotowire.com Saturday, 11:35 pm
