• Gets MRI to check healing
Casas received an MRI on Monday to check the healing of his injured ribs, Alex Speier of The Boston Globe reports.

Advice: The results aren't expected to be known until Tuesday, but Casas noted that he's feeling good and should have a "quick turnaround" before he resumes swinging a bat, per Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald. Casas has been doing some baseball activities but hasn't progressed as quickly as hoped. He's continuing to aim for a return from the 60-day injured list early next week, but even if the MRI yields favorable results, Casas could still face an uphill battle to make it back by his target date. • Drawing start at DH on Monday
Fry (elbow) will start at designated hitter and bat fifth in Monday's game against the Orioles.

Advice: Fry's status heading into the series opener in Baltimore was somewhat murky after he was forced out of Sunday's 6-5 win over Toronto with right elbow inflammation, but the 29-year-old is apparently feeling well enough to stick in the lineup Monday in a non-defensive role. Once the elbow issue fully subsides, expect Fry to mix in behind the plate and in the corner outfield along with at DH as the Guardians make a concerted effort to keep his productive bat in the lineup. • Playing time trending up
Carpenter will serve as the Cardinals' designated hitter and No. 7 batter in Monday's game against Atlanta.

Advice: After he was excluded from the lineup for a stretch of six consecutive games from June 12 through 17 while the Cardinals faced four lefty starters and handed starts to Nolan Arenado and Masyn Winn at DH in the other two matchups with righties, Carpenter will now get his sixth start in a row. He's earned a more stable spot in the lineup against righties after going 6-for-16 with a double and a walk over the previous five games. The lefty-hitting Carpenter should continue to sit regularly versus lefties, however. Rotowire.com Monday, 1:20 pm

  • Draws third straight start
Urias will start at third base and bat eighth in Monday's game against the Guardians.

Advice: Urias looks to be gaining traction in Baltimore's everyday lineup, as he'll pick up his third straight start Monday and fifth start in six games. The uptick in playing time has corresponded with Urias' surge at the plate; dating back to May 27, he's slashing .293/.349/.517 over a stretch of 19 games. Jorge Mateo looks to be the primary loser from a playing-time perspective from Urias' uptick in starts, as he'll hit the bench Monday for the third time in five games. Rotowire.com Monday, 11:50 am

  • Homers in loss
Raley went 3-for-4 with a two-run homer and two runs scored in Sunday's loss to Miami.

Advice: Raley put the Mariners on the board with a two-run blast in the fourth inning. He entered Sunday's game in a 4-for-23 (.174) skid over his previous nine games. Raley has gone 16-for-59 (.271) with five home runs in 21 games this month. His season slash line is up to .263/.310/.463 with 18 extra-base hits and 22 RBI through 203 plate appearances. • Three hits, including homer in win
Naylor went 3-for-5 with a solo home run, a double and two runs scored in Sunday's 6-5 win over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Naylor secured a single in the first inning before notching a double and coming around to score in the third. He later added his 20th home run of the season in the bottom of the fourth frame, taking reliever Brendon Little deep for a solo shot, expanding Cleveland's lead to 6-3. Naylor has now tallied at least one hit in nine of the team's last 11 contests, batting .372 with four home runs, 11 RBI and eight runs scored over that stretch. Rotowire.com Sunday, 7:54 pm

  • Drives in three runs
Diaz went 3-for-3 with three RBI and two runs scored in Sunday's victory against the Orioles.

Advice: Diaz knocked an RBI single in the first inning and later brought home two more runs with a pair of sacrifice flies. After hitting .200 in May, the 25-year-old has gone 18-for-57 (.316) in 15 June contests. Diaz owns a .704 OPS with 37 RBI and 31 runs scored in 67 games. Rotowire.com Sunday, 6:29 pm

  • David Fry (elbow) considered day-to-day
David Fry is considered day-to-day after exiting Sunday’s game against the Blue Jays with inflammation in his right elbow.

Advice: It sounds like it’s just a minor issue and the 28-year-old slugger won’t require a trip to the injured list. While his pace has cooled over the last few weeks, Fry has still been a force in the middle of the Guardians’ lineup this season — slashing .312/.429/.526 with eight homers, 31 RBI and four stolen bases in only 189 plate appearances. • Luis Arraez has two hits, RBI in loss on Sunday
Luis Arraez went 2-for-4 with a pair of singles and an RBI on Sunday afternoon as the Padres fell to the Brewers.

Advice: The sweet-swinging 27-year-old got the Padres on the board with a two-out RBI single off of Tobias Myers in the fifth inning. With his two-hit attack, Arraez is now hitting .315/.350/.385 with just two homers, 22 RBI and three stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:55 pm
