    • Removed with hamstring injury
Seager was removed from Wednesday's game against the Tigers due to left hamstring tightness, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.

Advice: After extending his on-base streak to 28 games with an RBI single in the second inning of Wednesday's contest, Seager was grabbing at his hamstring before being replaced on first base by Ezequiel Duran. The Rangers will likely take Seager in for imaging, and more information on his status may come following Wednesday's game. The 30-year-old infielder has slashed .300/.395/.627 with 11 home runs and 21 RBI since May 1. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:04 pm

    • Corey Seager leaves game with apparent injury
Corey Seager was removed from Wednesday night’s battle against the Tigers in the second inning due to an apparent injury.

Advice: Seager opened the scoring in the ballgame with an RBI single off of Joey Wentz in the second inning, but he pulled up lame at first base and ultimately hobbled off the field with the training staff. It’s unclear exactly what occurred, but he’ll head for further evaluation to determine the severity of the issue. Expect the Rangers to provide an update on his status shortly. • Taking seat Wednesday
Freeman is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Royals.

Advice: Though he's moved out of the leadoff spot since the Guardians brought back Steven Kwan from the injured list Friday, Freeman has continued to thrive with four hits -- including a game-winning home run Tuesday -- and a stolen base over his last four games. Utility man Daniel Schneemann will get the nod in center field Wednesday in what looks to be little more than a maintenance day for Freeman, who had started in each of Cleveland's last 20 games. • Exits starting lineup
Cowser is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game in Toronto.

Advice: Cowser has struggled over the last few weeks, producing a .431 OPS in his past 15 games. He'll be given a day off to regroup while Kyle Stowers starts in left field and Cedric Mullins covers center field. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:11 pm

    • Hits game-tying homer
Freeman went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Tuesday's 8-5 win over the Royals.

Advice: Freeman's homer tied the game at 5-5 in the seventh inning. He hit eighth Tuesday, the lowest he's been in the order since May 9, though it was expected he'd see less time in the top-third of the lineup following Steven Kwan's return from a hamstring injury. Freeman is batting a respectable .256 over his last 20 games, though his season average remains at .219 with a .666 OPS, five homers, 24 RBI, 33 runs scored and eight stolen bases through 54 contests. • Impressive nine-strikeout effort
Kirby (5-5) got the win over the Athletics on Tuesday, recording nine strikeouts while allowing two earned runs on six hits and a walk over five-plus innings.

Advice: The right-hander had his swing-and-miss stuff in prime form for the second consecutive start, one-upping his eight-strikeout tally against the Astros last Wednesday. The two runs on Kirby's ledger came about through relatively innocuous means, with Abraham Toro getting to him with an RBI single in the third and Austin Voth conceding an RBI groundout to inherited runner Shea Langeliers upon entering for Kirby in the sixth. Kirby's last two strikeout-heavy outings have come on the heels of back-to-back starts where he gave up five runs apiece to the Nationals and Orioles, giving him some momentum heading into a projected tussle with the improved Royals at home on Sunday. • George Kirby strikes out nine in defeating A’s
George Kirby fanned nine while allowing two runs over five innings in the Mariners’ 4-3 win over the A’s on Tuesday.

Advice: This wasn’t Kirby’s smoothest outing, but it was good enough to get him back on the board for the first time in a few weeks. It’s just the second time this season he’s been credited with a victory in an outing in which he’s given up a run. He’s currently 5-5 with a 4.05 ERA and a 74/7 K/BB in 73 1/3 innings. • Up to seven saves
Fairbanks earned the save in Tuesday's 9-5 win over Miami, striking out a pair in a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Phil Maton originally got the call in the ninth with Tampa Bay up by four runs. However, he'd allow the Marlins to load the bases on three straight singles, forcing the Rays to turn to Fairbanks, who proceeded to strike out Bryan De La Cruz and Jake Burger before coaxing a game-ending groundout from Josh Bell. It was an impressive performance from the 30-year-old right-hander, who hasn't allowed an earned run in his last 11 innings. Overall, Fairbanks is 7-for-8 in save chances with a 3.50 ERA, 1.39 WHIP and 21:10 K:BB over 18 innings this season. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 9:58 pm
    • Max Fried strikes out 13 in win over Boston
Max Fried allowed three runs (two earned) on four hits in seven innings in a win over the Red Sox.

Advice: Fried also struck out 13 on the day while walking just one. He did give up a home run to Dominic Smith, but it was the only extra-base hit he allowed in the game. He got 21 whiffs on 50 swings for an impressive 42 percent whiff rate and 40 percent CSW. This Red Sox lineup is clearly short-handed due to injuries, but Fried was masterful on Tuesday and now has a 2.93 ERA on the year. He should be in line for another good start against the Nationals this weekend. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:25 pm
