      Advice: Doyle blasted a homer off Keaton Winn with a pair of runners on to extend the Colorado lead to 6-1. The 25-year-old has shown vastly improved pop in the early portion of 2024, as he’s up to four homers and a .455 slugging percentage. It’s probably not sustainable — and the numbers have already dropped after a red-hot April — but it’s nice to see offensive progress from a player who was not an effective hitter whatsoever in 2024, even while playing in some of the friendliest confines for half of his games.       Advice: Tovar singled twice and also doubled. The RBI came on that double in the fourth inning, and he’s up to eight two-baggers with 13 RBI over the first 36 games of 2024. Tovar still has work to be done, but at the age of 22, he’s got time to figure it all out. A .269/.314/.400 slash gives you an idea of what he’s capable of in the coming seasons.
