      Suarez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 10-9 loss to the Mets.

      Advice: Suarez went yard in the sixth inning for just his fourth home run in 56 games this season. The blast ended a 19-game stretch without a home run and was his first hit in 13 at-bats.       Rangers manager Bruce Bochy said Wednesday that Jung (wrist) "looks great" after resuming hitting, Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News reports.

      Advice: Jung was cleared to hit Tuesday following a visit with the doctor that performed the surgery on his right wrist in early April. He hit for a second straight day Wednesday while using a lighter bat, with Bochy saying afterward that "you'd think he was going to be ready in a couple of days" based on how he looked. Jung is not going to be ready to return soon, of course, but this is an encouraging progress report. A clearer timetable for the third baseman could be established in the coming days.       Suarez batted seventh and went 0-for-2 with a walk and an RBI in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Rangers.

      Advice: Suarez knocked in Arizona's second run with a sacrifice fly in the second inning, just his second RBI over the last 12 games. The third baseman has been grinding with a .182 average and .504 OPS for the month of May.
