    • Henry Davis unlikely to get callup from Pirates
The Pirates have added Grant Koch, not Henry Davis, to the taxi squad following Yasmani Grandal’s injury Tuesday.

Advice: Davis has been fantastic offensively since being sent down, hitting .279/.456/.628 in 12 games, but the Pirates apparently don’t want to bring him back yet. If Grandal goes on the injured list, the light-hitting Koch would likely back up Joey Bart. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:04 am

    • Finds power in win
Alvarez went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Tuesday's 6-5 win over the Angels.

Advice: Alvarez went back-to-back with Kyle Tucker in the first inning for his first home run since May 9. After slumping a bit earlier this month, his bat has heated back up. Alvarez now has at least a hit in 10 of his last 12 games and is slashing .340/.404/.553 with three RBI, seven runs and a 5:11 BB:K over that span. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:36 am
    • Christian Yelich delivers go-ahead hit vs. Marlins
Christian Yelich delivered a go-ahead two-run triple in the eighth inning on Tuesday, lifting the Brewers to a 7-5 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Yelich came through in the clutch against his former organization by victimizing Marlins lefty A.J. Puk with a two-out triple to right field that put Milwaukee ahead for good in a back-and-forth slugfest. The 32-year-old outfielder is batting .321 (26-for-81) with five homers and six steals through 22 contests. Rotoworld Tuesday, 6:57 pm
    • Lars Nootbaar ejected from Tuesday’s game
Lars Nootbaar was ejected from Tuesday’s game against the Orioles for arguing balls and strikes.

Advice: Nootbaar didn’t agree with a called third strike in his first-inning at-bat and was tossed from the contest after returning to the dugout and continuing to voice his displeasure. Rotoworld Tuesday, 5:00 pm
    • Slated to play in ACL games
Robert (hip) will begin playing in Arizona Complex League games on Wednesday, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Advice: Robert has been on the shelf since April 6 due to a Grade 2 right hip flexor strain, but he now appears to be ready to test his hip in a competitive environment. The plan is for him to remain at the White Sox's complex in Arizona through the weekend before officially beginning an assignment with one of Chicago's minor-league affiliates next week. The team has not revealed how long they expect the 26-year-old outfielder to remain on assignment, but it's likely he returns to the Sox sometime in June. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 2:45 pm

    • Luis Robert Jr. (hip) ready for rehab contests
Luis Robert Jr. (hip) will play five innings on Wednesday in a Rookie-level Arizona Complex League contest.

Advice: The plan appears to be for Robert to get a couple games in this week out in Arizona before heading out on an official minor league rehab assignment next week. The 26-year-old fantasy superstar has been on the shelf since early April due to a Grade 2 hip flexor strain that was expected to keep him sidelined for at least 6-8 weeks. Barring any setbacks, he should return at some point in early June. Rotoworld Tuesday, 2:30 pm

    • Idle against lefty
Kirilloff is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Nationals.

Advice: As per usual, Kirilloff will take a seat with Minnesota facing a left-handed pitcher (Patrick Corbin). Willi Castro will bat sixth and play left field. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 11:33 am

    • Swipes two bags
Yelich went 0-for-3 with two walks, two steals and a run scored in Monday's loss to Miami.

Advice: Yelich stole his fifth and sixth bases of the season in the sixth inning. First, the Brewers outfielder stole second before catching starter Ryan Weathers off guard on a throw back from his catcher, taking the opportunity to swipe home. Overall, Yelich is slashing .321/.398/.564 in 89 plate appearances this season. Rotowire.com Monday, 7:14 pm
    • Christian Yelich steals two bases Monday in loss
Christian Yelich walked twice and stole two bases on Monday in the Brewers’ extra-inning loss to the Marlins.

Advice: Yelich walked and stole second base in the sixth inning before making a daring heads-up decision to steal home on Marlins starter Ryan Weathers later in the frame. It was his first multi-steal performance since back on Opening Day and just the 16th time he’s accomplished the feat in his career. Rotoworld Monday, 7:04 pm
