Advice: Volpe made the most of his fifth-inning single, as he proceeded to steal both second and third base before coming home on an Alex Verdugo double. The second-year shortstop is up to 15 thefts (on 18 attempts) this season, tied for 13th in the league. Volpe's power is down in comparison to his rookie campaign, but he's reduced his strikeout rate from 27.8 percent to 21.3 percent, which has helped produce a much-improved .271/.329/.414 slash line. Advice: Volpe led off the fifth inning with a single, then swiped second and third base before scoring on Alex Verdugo’s RBI double. That would be his lone hit in five at-bats on the evening. Advice: Correa's first career five-hit game is the highlight of what's been a stellar run at the plate -- he's now 15-for-29 (.517) with a double and a home run over his last seven contests. Advice: Correa singled five times, finishing 5-for-6 with an RBI and also scored three runs in this one, as Minnesota racked up a staggering 24 hits in a back-and-forth slugfest at Target Field. It’s pretty incredible the impact that a five-hit effort can have as it raises his full-season batting average from .271 to a near-elite .290 mark. Advice: Winn has been leading off against left-handers for a while now, and the Cardinals are facing left-hander Bailey Falter. However, this is now the sixth game in a row that Winn is leading off, including three against right-handed pitching. The rookie is hitting .305 on the season with eight steals, so if he’s not hitting leadoff for the Cardinals, that should give him enough run production to really boost his fantasy value. Advice: Correa is up to .270 with 27 RBI on the season. Not bad considering he already dealt with an oblique injury this season. Correa isn’t going to regain his All-Star form from his days with the Astros.
