    • Start pushed to Friday
Reds manager David Bell said Sunday that Greene's next start will be pushed to Friday against the Brewers, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Advice: The right-hander was previously expected to start Tuesday versus Cleveland, but he'll get a bit of extra rest this week after throwing 111 pitches in each of his past two starts. Greene gave up nine earned runs in those outings but has a 3.61 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 84:32 K:BB over 77.1 innings this season. Rotowire.com Sunday, 11:24 am
    • Handed third loss
Kittredge (0-3) allowed three runs on three hits and struck out one over one inning to take the loss and a blown save Saturday versus the Rockies.

Advice: Kittredge surrendered an RBI single to Brenton Doyle and a two-run home run to Ezequiel Tovar in the seventh inning, just half a frame after the Cardinals had rallied ahead. St. Louis didn't have another rally in it, leaving Kittredge with the loss. He'd pitched four scoreless innings to begin June before Saturday's slip-up. On the year, he has a 3.54 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 29:8 K:BB with three blown saves and 17 holds through 28 innings. Kittredge remains an important high-leverage reliever, but JoJo Romero has been the Cardinals' most effective setup man and Ryan Helsley remains locked in as closer. Rotowire.com Saturday, 11:08 pm
    • Drops contest against Dodgers
Cortes (3-5) took the loss against the Dodgers on Saturday, allowing four runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out four batters over 5.1 innings.

Advice: Cortes gave up a pair of solo homers among the seven total hits Los Angeles tallied against him, and the four runs he yielded tied a season-high mark. The lefty hurler did at least manage to keep New York within striking range -- though the game ended in a blowout, most of the Dodgers' damage came after Cortes' departure. Cortes is hanging onto a respectable 3.68 ERA on the season, though his current 8.7 K/9 is on pace for his lowest mark since a four-appearance cup of coffee as a rookie in 2018. • Nestor Cortes shaky again in loss to Dodgers
Nestor Cortes gave up four runs while working 5 1/3 innings in a loss Saturday to the Dodgers.

Advice: Cortes gave up two homers, one to Teoscar Hernandez and another to Enrique Hernandez (note: no relation). The left-hander continues to pitch at an inconsistent level, but his 3.68 ERA and 1.12 WHIP help tell the story that there’s been more better than bitter. He’s scheduled to face the Royals on Thursday. Rotoworld Saturday, 10:04 pm

    • Fans eight in victory
Greene (4-2) earned the win over the Cubs on Thursday, allowing four runs on five hits and two walks while striking out eight batters over 6.2 innings.

Advice: Greene gave up a pair of two-run homers but otherwise kept the Cubs off the scoreboard. The right-hander racked up 17 whiffs among his 111 pitches and gave Cincinnati 6.2 frames, marking the fifth straight start during which he's completed at least six innings. Greene ranks 11th in the majors with 77.1 frames on the season while recording a 3.61 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 84:32 K:BB. Rotowire.com Thursday, 11:31 pm
    • Nabs quality start in no-decision
Lopez allowed two runs on six hits and one walk while striking out seven batters over six innings in a no-decision against Washington on Thursday.

Advice: Lopez held the Nationals scoreless until the sixth inning, when CJ Abrams and Lane Thomas tagged him for back-to-back solo homers. Lopez looked like he could be on the ropes when the following two batters singled, but the right-handed hurler got out of the jam without another run scoring. That allowed him to register his seventh quality start in what has been a career-best campaign. Lopez ranks third among qualified starters with a 1.85 ERA through 63.1 innings on the season. • Evan Phillips allows three runs in non-save spot
Evan Phillips was charged with three runs in the eighth inning on Thursday in a non-save situation against the Pirates.

Advice: Phillips got the call for his first appearance in nearly a week with the Dodgers leading by seven runs at the time and wound up surrendering four hits, including a three-run homer to Oneil Cruz. Fortunately, his struggles didn’t end up impacting the final result of the contest, but it certainly doesn’t do fantasy managers any favors in the ratio departments. • Greene allows four, gets fourth win Thursday
Hunter Greene allowed four runs in 6 2/3 innings and got the win in the Reds’ 8-4 victory over the Cubs on Thursday.

Advice: Greene gave up five hits, walked two and struck out eight. The win was his fourth in 13 starts this season. It was a bit of a mixed bag for Greene with two home runs allowed and eight strikeouts. He has a 3.61 ERA on the season, but a 4.23 xFIP. The 24-year-old right-hander is set to face the Guardians at home next week. Rotoworld Thursday, 6:46 pm
    • Lopez allows two in no-decision Thursday
Reynoldo Lopez allowed two runs in six innings and got a no-decision in the Braves’ 5-2 victory over the Nationals on Thursday.

Advice: Lopez gave up six hits, walked one and struck out seven. CJ Abrams and Lane Thomas hit back-to-back home runs off him in the sixth inning. The home runs Lopez allowed were his third and fourth of the season (0.57 HR/9). Only Ranger Suarez and Luis Gil have a lower ERA than Lopez’ 1.85 (min. 50 innings), though his xFIP is significantly higher at 3.71. He has eight quality starts but he’s only won three of his 11 starts this year. The 30-year-old right-hander is set to face the Orioles on the road next week.
