      Pfaadt (2-4) came away with a no-decision Sunday against the Mets, allowing four earned runs on five hits and two walks over six innings. He struck out eight.

      Advice: Pfaadt was solid outside of a rough third inning in which he allowed all four of his earned runs courtesy of back-to-back triples. The 25-year-old right-hander has now pitched six or more innings in seven consecutive starts and has yet to pitch less than five innings in any start this season. The second-year pro has been inconsistent, pitching to a 4.32 ERA, but his 5.1 K/BB and 1.08 WHIP highlight his ability to miss bats.     • Michael King gets tough luck no decision vs KC
      Michael King allowed one run on four hits in seven innings in a no-decision against the Royals.

      Advice: King was all set to record the win with the Padres up 3-1 heading into the bottom of the ninth inning. However, with their bullpen being taxed heavily over the last few days, the Padres had to go with Yuki Matsui to close the game, and he allowed three runs while only recording one out. King was only able to induce eight whiffs on 48 swings for a 17 percent whiff rate and 24 percent CSW, but he allowed an average exit velocity on all batted balls of just 84 mph. Despite some poor starts, he has been a solid fantasy starter for much of the year and makes for a fine play against the Diamondbacks next week. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:37 pm

    • Cole Ragans pitches well in no decision
      Cole Ragans allowed one run on five hits in six innings in a no-decision against the Padres on Sunday.

      Advice: The left-hander struck out six and walked two on the day while recording 14 whiffs on 46 swings for a 30 percent whiff rate and 27 percent CSW. He had some issues finding the strike zone with his off-speed pitches, but the induced whiffs outside of the zone and the Padres were unable to square him up.     • Brandon Pfaadt allows four runs in six innings
      Brandon Pfaadt pitched six innings on Sunday against the Mets. He struck out eight and walked two batters.

      Advice: Pfaadt pitched very well in this game despite the four earned runs. The Mets were swinging over his sweeper all afternoon before a rally with back-to-back triples by Brandon Nimmo and J.D. Martinez fueled all four of their runs.       Miller (shoulder) is scheduled for a rehab start Friday with Triple-A Oklahoma City after he allowed four runs on five hits and one walk over 3.1 innings Saturday for Single-A Rancho Cucamonga, Eric Stephen of SBNation.comreports.

      Advice: Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that Miller experienced some reduced velocity Saturday, but it doesn't appear to be injury related. The right-hander threw 65 pitches for Rancho Cucamonga, but he induced just two swinging strikes and will need to continue building up his workload to about five innings while also honing his effectiveness as he moves up to the Triple-A level. An additional start in the minors after Friday's outing hasn't been ruled out, but Miller could return from the 15-day injured list and slot back into the rotation if all goes well during his upcoming start with Oklahoma City.       Pablo López pitched seven innings of one-run ball Friday as the Twins downed the Astros 6-1.

      Advice: López generated 17 missed swings tonight, 12 of them with his fastball. His peripherals would suggest that he’s had pretty awful luck this season, but he was in close to peak form tonight.       Lopez (5-5) earned the win in Friday's 6-1 victory over Houston, allowing one run on six hits and one walk over seven innings. He struck out nine.

      Advice: Lopez appeared to be in the form that led him to a seventh place finish in the 2023 AL Cy Young race. The Minnesota right-hander generated an impressive 17 whiffs en route to his six punchouts while lowering his season ERA to 4.84 in 67 innings. The lone blemish on his evening was the 348-foot solo shot Alex Bregman hit into Houston's Crawford Boxes in the fourth inning.       Harrison (4-2) took the loss Wednesday against the Phillies, allowing four runs on 12 hits and a walk over five innings. He struck out five.

      Advice: Harrison's final line ultimately could've looked a lot worse, as he surrendered a career-most 12 hits. The 22-year-old southpaw's hit a rough patch of late, giving up three or more runs over five innings in each of his last four starts. Harrison's ERA is up to 4.15 through 12 starts (65 innings) this year with a 1.40 WHIP and 60:22 K:BB.
