• Making another rehab start
Wicks (forearm) is starting for Triple-A Iowa on Tuesday, Tony Andracki of Marquee Sports Network reports.

Advice: Wicks will make his second rehab appearance at Triple-A Iowa after going two scoreless innings with three strikeouts Friday. He's still in the process of getting stretched out, so it's expected Wicks will need a couple more rehab starts before being activated. Rotowire.com 1 minute ago

  • Will start for Texas on Tuesday
Eovaldi (groin) will start Tuesday's game against the Diamondbacks, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.

Advice: Eovaldi has missed nearly all of May with a strained right groin, but he will skip a rehab assignment and go right back into the Rangers' rotation. The right-hander would figure to be relatively limited from a workload perspective Tuesday, although the Rangers haven't revealed any specifics regarding a pitch count. Dane Dunning had been on turn to start Tuesday but will now take the ball Wednesday. Rotowire.com 2 minutes ago

  • DL getting undergoing tests after ‘tweaking’ knee
DL Hall is undergoing additional testing after “tweaking” his left knee last week during a minor league rehab appearance.

Advice: Hall expressed frustration with reporters on Tuesday as he awaits additional medical opinions on his knee, adding that he believes it to be a similar issue to the one that sent him to the injured list back in mid-April. There is no timetable for the 25-year-old southpaw’s return at the moment, but there should be an update on his prognosis at some point this week. Rotoworld 16 minutes ago

  • Close to playing catch
Orioles manager Brandon Hyde said Tuesday that Kremer (triceps) is improving and could be cleared to play catch soon, Jake Rill of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Kremer was placed on the 15-day injured list this past Friday, but it's looking like his absence might not last long. That said, it might be a push for the right-hander to return when eligible on June 5. More should be known on Kremer's potential timetable in the coming days. Rotowire.com 23 minutes ago

  • White Sox put Mike Clevinger (elbow) on 15-day IL
White Sox placed RHP Mike Clevinger on the 15-day injured list, retroactive to May 25, with right elbow inflammation.

Advice: Clevinger was scratched from Tuesday’s scheduled outing against the Blue Jays and will likely wind up facing an extended absence, especially given his lengthy injury history. There should be an update on the 33-year-old right-hander’s status at some point in the coming days. Rotoworld 46 minutes ago

  • Starting rehab assignment
Cantillo (hamstring) will make a start in the Arizona Complex League on Thursday

Advice: Cantillo sustained a strained hamstring toward the end of spring training and was given an 8-to-10-week timetable for return. He seems to be on track with his rehab considering Thursday's start comes around the eight-week mark. A top pitching prospect in the Guardians system, Cantillo got his first taste of Triple-A action last season, logging a 4.64 ERA across 95.0 innings on 18 starts. Rotowire.com 49 minutes ago

  • Clevinger heading to injured list with elbow issue
Mike Clevinger has been scratched from Tuesday’s start against the Blue Jays and will be placed on the 15-day injured list due to elbow soreness.

Advice: Clevinger was scheduled for the start Tuesday against Toronto, but the 33-year-old instead will hit the injured list because of the elbow issue. Jake Woodford will get the start in Clevinger’s place, as he’ll get recalled from Triple-A to take the ball in Clevinger’s absence. Rotoworld Today, 12:47 pm

  • Tossing bullpen
Junis (shoulder/head) threw a bullpen session ahead of Tuesday's game against the Cubs, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Advice: Junis has resumed his throwing program after his rehab from a right shoulder impingement was derailed by a ball that struck him in the head during batting practice April 22. The right-hander was shifted from the 15-day IL to the 60-day IL shortly after the incident and is on schedule for a return sometime in June. Hogg also reports that Junis is set for a live bullpen session Friday and would begin a rehab assignment next week if the live bullpen session goes well. Rotowire.com Today, 12:44 pm

  • Headed to IL with sore elbow
The White Sox placed Clevinger on the 15-day injured list Tuesday, retroactive to May 25, with right elbow inflammation, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Advice: Clevinger had been slated to start Tuesday's game against the Blue Jays but has landed on the IL instead. It's not yet clear how serious the injury is or how much time Clevinger might miss. Jake Woodford is coming up from Triple-A Charlotte to start Tuesday, and he could be needed for multiple outings.
