    • Two hits in win
Jankowski started in left field and went 2-for-3 with a double and a run scored in Tuesday's 4-2 win over Arizona.

Advice: Jankowski got the starting nod in left after the Rangers placed Evan Carter (back) on the 10-day injured list. Wyatt Langford returned from his own injury -- a hamstring -- and will also be available for the field. Jankowski has been given sporadic playing time in 2024 and is batting .260/.316/.342 with a home run, three doubles, three steals, six RBI and seven runs scored over 79 plate appearances. • Plays outfield
Garcia started in right field and went 0-for-4 in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: This was Garcia's first start in the outfield since missing two games due to a forearm injury. He's gone 3-for-23 (.130) with a home run, a double and two RBI since his return. Rotowire.com 17 minutes ago
    • Starts at DH in return
Langford served as the designated hitter and went 0-for-3 in Tuesday's 4-2 win over Arizona.

Advice: Langford was activated from the 10-day injured list and played for the first time since May 4. His activation to the roster came at the expense of left fielder Evan Carter (back), but Langford was eased in as the DH while Travis Jankowski handled left field. Rotowire.com 22 minutes ago
    • Produces run in loss
Suarez batted seventh and went 0-for-2 with a walk and an RBI in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to the Rangers.

Advice: Suarez knocked in Arizona's second run with a sacrifice fly in the second inning, just his second RBI over the last 12 games. The third baseman has been grinding with a .182 average and .504 OPS for the month of May. He opened the season as the regular sixth batter in the order but was dropped to seventh against right-handers since the middle of last week. Rotowire.com 31 minutes ago
    • Makes rare start
Smith started in right field and went 1-for-2 with a double, an RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 4-2 loss to Texas.

Advice: The start was Smith's first appearance of any kind since May 19 and 11th since being called up from Triple-A Reno on April 19. The lefty-batter doubled in the Diamondbacks' first run before being pinch hit for when a lefty entered the contest. Smith has a .244/.273/.415 line over 44 plate appearances. • Luis Matos delivers game-winning for Giants
Luis Matos delivered a game-winning sac fly in the bottom of the 10th as the Giants bested the Phillies 1-0 on Tuesday.

Advice: Matos was 0-for-3 in the contest before his fly to left entered the game. It’s hard to say if the Giants will keep both he and Heliot Ramos after Michael Conforto comes off the IL, something that should happen this weekend. The Giants consider Matos the better option in center, but Ramos has been the more impressive hitter to date. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:39 pm

    • Spencer Howard goes four scoreless in relief
Spencer Howard shut out the Phillies for four innings in his bulk role Tuesday.

Advice: It sounded like Howard would be the second pitcher in tonight, but he instead entered in the fourth after Erik Miller and Taylor Rogers combined on three scoreless innings. He then kept his old team scoreless through the seventh. It didn’t get him a win, but he might have earned a chance to stick around. The 27-year-old was making his 2024 MLB debut after posting a 5.90 ERA in 10 starts for Sacramento. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:39 pm
    • Zack Wheeler shuts down Giants in no-decision
Zack Wheeler blanked the Giants for six innings, allowing just two hits, in a no-decision Tuesday.

Advice: Wheeler wasn’t at his most efficient tonight, but that didn’t really matter, since the Phillies went 10 innings without scoring. It’s Wheeler’s ninth quality start in 12 tries, and he lowered his ERA to 2.32. Still, the Phillies bizarrely are only 6-6 when he pitches, compared to 32-12 the rest of the time. • Bryson Stott goes hitless against Giants
Bryson Stott, who didn’t start Monday, went 0-for-4 in the loss to the Giants on Tuesday.

Advice: Stott has run extremely hot and cold this season, posting a .559 OPS over his first 25 games and a 1.242 OPS over his subsequent 18 games. Now he’s back in another drought, having gone 2-for-28 in his last eight games. The good news is that he’s struck out just three times during that span. He still projects as a useful MI in mixed leagues going forward. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:39 pm
