      Advice: Despite the command issues all afternoon, Peralta kept the Cubs off the board until coughing up three runs in the fifth inning. He took his first loss of the year and has now failed to complete six frames in three straight outings. During that stretch, he's posted a 6.00 ERA with a 17:11 K:BB. Peralta forced 13 whiffs Sunday but threw just 51 of 97 pitches for strikes. His season ERA climbed to 3.49 through 38.2 frames.       Miller didn't factor into the decision Sunday against the Astros, allowing four runs on six hits and a walk across six innings. He struck out three.

      Advice: Miller kept a clean sheet through five innings before surrendering a two-run home run to Kyle Tucker in the sixth and a two-run shot to Jon Singleton in the seventh -- a long ball that got Miller pulled. The outing marked Miller's third time allowing multiple homers this season and his three strikeouts were a season low. Through 41.1 innings, Miller owns a 2.61 ERA and a 42:13 K:BB.       Advice: Ramirez took Griffin Canning yard in the sixth inning, getting the Guardians on the board and plating Andres Gimenez. The long ball was his sixth of the campaign, a total that trails only Josh Naylor -- who also homered Sunday -- for the team lead.       Bryce Miller surrendered four runs in six innings Sunday against the Astros.

      Advice: Jon Singleton and Kyle Tucker both hit two-run homers off Miller, but this was still hardly a disaster. He’s really been great at limiting the damage in his worse starts this season, and he’s allowed a total of two earned runs in his four good outings, leaving him with a 2.61 ERA in 41 1/3 innings to date.     • Freddy Peralta walks six in loss to Cubs on Sunday
      Freddy Peralta struggled with his command in Sunday’s loss to the Cubs, issuing six walks over five innings of three-run baseball.

      Advice: Peralta also surrendered three hits on the afternoon while punching out five batters. Even with all of the traffic on the basepaths, the 27-year-old right-hander kept the Cubs off the board through the first four innings. That wasn’t the case in the fifth though, where Nico Hoerner smacked a two-run double and then scored on a wild pitch. Peralta generated 13 swinging strikes on 97 pitches in the contest, posting a CSW of 25 percent. Now 3-1 on the season, he’ll look to bounce back as he carries a 3.49 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and a 50/15 K/BB ratio (38 2/3 innings) into Friday’s matchup against the Cardinals.       Advice: Jimenez entered Sunday's matchup without a home run in his last six contests, but he was able to snap that streak with a solo shot, launching his fourth homer of the year in the top of the seventh inning off reliever Giovanny Gallegos. The long ball gave the team a 2-1 lead, and the right-hander has now recorded at least one hit in seven of his last nine games, batting .270 with two home runs, five RBI and six runs scored over that stretch.       Eloy Jiménez belted a go-ahead solo homer in the seventh inning on Sunday, helping to power the White Sox to victory over the Cardinals.

      Advice: The 27-year-old slugger led off the seventh inning with his 411-foot (105.8 mph EV) solo shot off of Giovanny Gallegos — giving the White Sox a 2-1 advantage.       Peralta implied that he could drop his appeal of a five-game suspension following his start Sunday against the Cubs, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

      Advice: Peralta was handed the ban Wednesday after he was deemed to have intentionally thrown at Rays outfielder Jose Siri in Tuesday's 8-2 win. The right-hander was ejected from the game immediately after hitting Siri, who then exchanged punches with Brewers reliever Abner Uribe following his next plate appearance in the eighth inning, inciting a benches-clearing brawl. Peralta seemingly appealed the suspension to give the Brewers more time to prepare for his absence, as it doesn't sound as though he's expecting a reduction in his five-game ban following the appeal process. With that in mind, fantasy managers should prepare for Peralta to have his next turn through the rotation skipped, with Milwaukee preparing to turn to a spot starter Friday in St. Louis. Robert Gasser is scheduled to pitch Sunday for Triple-A Nashville and could be called up to fill the void for Peralta on Friday, though manager Pat Murphy also floated the possibility of that game being treated as a bullpen day, per Hogg.
