    • Alex Lange gets four-out save against Cardinals
Alex Lange got four outs for his second save Wednesday against the Cardinals.

Advice: Jason Foley had pitched three of the previous four days, so Lange got the call today. Since giving up five unearned runs in the 12th inning in a loss on Apr. 13, Lange has pitched 7 2/3 scoreless innings with a 9/2 K/BB ratio in seven appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:08 pm
    • Snags second save
Lange earned the save in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Cardinals, recording two strikeouts and a walk over 1.1 scoreless innings.

Advice: Lange struck out Willson Contreras for the final out in the eighth inning before closing the door in the ninth, working around a two-out walk to Paul Goldschmidt for his second save this season. Jason Foley was likely unavailable Wednesday after pitching three of the last four days, though Lange has continued to pitch well in a set-up role -- he's held opponents scoreless in his last 7.2 innings, allowing just two hits and two walks while striking out nine in that span. The 28-year-old right-hander lowered his ERA to 0.75 with a 1.17 WHIP 16:9 K:BB across 12 innings this season. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:05 pm
    • Stuck with loss Tuesday
Lopez (2-1) took the loss Tuesday against the Mariners, allowing three runs on six hits and two walks while striking out seven over five innings.

Advice: Lopez struck out the side to begin his night en route to tying his season-high in strikeouts. He pitched well overall, but there was not much he could do with Atlanta not scoring until the eighth inning. His one costly mistake came in the third after allowing a two-run blast to Jorge Polanco and the Mariners would tack on a third run in the fourth, which proved to be the deciding run in the game. Tuesday was the first time Lopez had failed to pitch at least six innings and surrender more than a run. He's now given up a home run in back-to-back outings. Still, the 30-year-old has been nothing short of spectacular through the first month, posting a 1.50 ERA, 1.00 WHIP and 31:10 K:BB in 30 innings. He currently lines up for a meeting with the Red Sox early next week. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:37 am

    • Reynaldo López allows three over five in loss
Reynaldo López allowed three runs in five innings while picking up a loss Tuesday to the Mariners.

Advice: López allowed six hits over those five frames, and he struck out seven while walking three with Josh Rojas getting all three free passes. The 30-year-old pitched better than his line suggested, but a two-run homer by Jorge Polanco turned an excellent outing into a shaky one from a fantasy perspective. Lopez still has an excellent 1.50 ERA, and he should be in fantasy lineups against Boston next week. Rotoworld Tuesday, 10:47 pm

    • Nick Pivetta making rehab start on Thursday
Nick Pivetta (elbow) is scheduled to make a minor league rehab start on Thursday.

Advice: Pivetta is targeting an early-May return to Boston’s starting rotation after landing on the injured list back on April 9 with a flexor strain in his right elbow. The 31-year-old righty is only expected to require one rehab outing before returning. It’s unclear whether he’ll have any initial workload restrictions yet. Rotoworld Tuesday, 1:38 pm

    • AJ Minter allows walk-off homer to blow save
AJ Minter blew a save by allowing two runs without recording an out Monday against Seattle while picking up a loss.

Advice: Minter was handed a one-run lead, and the southpaw allowed a base hit to Jorge Polanco before Mitch Garver took the southpaw deep on a 3-2 pitch to give Seattle the win. Minter has been an excellent high-leverage option for Atlanta, but this one will hurt fantasy managers who have the 30-year-old on the roster. Rotoworld Monday, 9:15 pm

    • Escapes with save
Adam allowed a hit and a walk in a scoreless inning Monday. He struck out two and earned a save over the Brewers.

Advice: Adam also hit a batter and faced a bases-loaded situation with two outs but still narrowly finished off the 1-0 win. It was his first save of the year after blowing his only other chance April 5 against the Rockies. Adam now owns a 1.29 ERA with a 12:4 K:BB and seven holds through 14 innings. • Turns in scoreless outing
Pepiot (3-2) yielded two hits over six shutout frames Monday, striking out seven and earning a win over the Brewers.

Advice: Pepiot was nearly untouchable Monday, allowing just one Brewer to reach scoring position. At one point, he retired 14 consecutive batters. He's produced three straight quality starts and four in his six appearances this year. Over his last outings, Pepiot has given up just two runs with an 18:5 K:BB through 18 innings. He'll carry a 3.12 ERA into his next start, which is projected to be at home against the Mets this weekend. Rotowire.com Monday, 7:34 pm

    • Ryan Pepiot throws six scoreless innings in win
Ryan Pepiot went six scoreless innings and punched out seven batters in Monday’s 1-0 win against the Brewers.

Advice: Pepiot has now made it through six innings in three straight starts. After allowing four or more earned runs in two of his first three starts this season, the 26-year-old has found his rhythm and hasn’t allowed more than one run in his last three outings. Opponents are now batting .168 against the right-hander and he now has 38 strikeouts through his first six starts. He’s a must start in all fantasy formats and will look to continue a solid 2024 campaign against the Mets. Rotoworld Monday, 7:12 pm
