    • Reynaldo López (back) likely to make next start
Reynaldo López tossed five scoreless innings on Monday in a no-decision against the Cubs.

Advice: López certainly would’ve gone deeper into the contest, but he was lifted for precautionary reasons following just 71 pitches (50 strikes) after his back tightened up on him. It doesn’t sound like a serious concern with Braves manager Brian Snitker telling reporters afterwards that he doesn’t expect him to miss his next start. The 30-year-old righty will bring a stellar 1.34 ERA, 1.09 WHIP and 40/16 K/BB ratio across 40 1/3 innings (seven starts) into a home outing on Sunday against the Padres. Rotoworld 12 minutes ago

    • Extends to 81 pitches
Sanchez did not factor into the decision Monday against the Tigers, allowing three runs (zero earned) on five hits and two walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out two.

Advice: An error opened the door for a three-run second that was entirely uncredited to Sanchez, who was generally effective throughout the rest of his outing. It was the 10th appearance and fourth start of the season for Sanchez, who allowed 10 earned runs over 10.2 innings during his previous three starts. Most encouraging for Sanchez is that he was able to work his way up to 81 pitches after tossing no more than 68 in any of his previous outings. He's tentatively scheduled to make his next start over the weekend at home when the Mets make the trek to Miami. Rotowire.com 12 minutes ago

    • Recalled, placed on 15-day IL
Fujinami was recalled from Triple-A Syracuse and placed on the 15-day injured list due to a right shoulder strain.

Advice: The Mets are likely making this move in the event Fujinami requires a trip to the 60-day injured list. He's yet to appear in a game this season. Rotowire.com 13 minutes ago

    • Takes loss in relief Monday
Wesneski (2-2) allowed two runs on three hits across three innings of relief to take the loss Monday against Atlanta. He walked one and struck out two.

Advice: Wesneski had worked as a starter over his last three appearances, compiling a strong 2.20 ERA in the process, but he returned to the bullpen Monday and took over for starter Shota Imanaga, who tossed five scoreless innings. The righty seemed to lose a little sharpness in the relief role as he suffered his second loss of the season. Wesneski may return to the rotation at some point, though he's slated to work as a long reliever for now, which limits his fantasy appeal. Rotowire.com 17 minutes ago

    • Collects first save
Minter worked around a hit and walk allowed to pick up the save Monday against the Cubs. He pitched a shutout inning with no strikeouts.

Advice: For the second straight night, Minter received the call for the save but was able to escape Monday unlike Sunday evening. Minter allowed Cody Bellinger to reach via an infield single and walked Christopher Morel before securing three outs to finish the game. Raisel Iglesias, who threw 48 pitches over back-to-back outings on Thursday and Friday, was likely slated for additional rest and should retain his closer role over Minter in Atlanta. • Dealing with cut on throwing hand
Fairbanks was unavailable to pitch Monday night against the Red Sox due to a cut on his right index finger, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Advice: Manager Kevin Cash is hopeful Fairbanks will be available out of the bullpen for Tuesday's matchup. Jason Adam handled the closer duties Monday and could be called upon again Tuesday if Fairbanks can't go. Rotowire.com 26 minutes ago
    • Allows two runs but earns win
Faedo (3-1) allowed two runs on three hits across 2.1 innings of relief but managed to earn the win in Monday's game against the Marlins. He struck out four.

Advice: Faedo wasn't at his sharpest Monday, but the righty still managed to earn another win out of the bullpen. He's been racking those up at an impressive but likely unsustainable pace, as he came into the season with only three total wins at the MLB level the last two years despite making 24 starts. Faedo has been solid so far, though his long-relief role makes his fantasy value somewhat unpredictable moving forward. Rotowire.com 34 minutes ago

    • Jason Adam receives call for save on Monday
Jason Adam tossed a scoreless ninth inning on Monday against the Red Sox to notch his third save of the season.

Advice: Adam was summoned by Rays manager Kevin Cash to work the final frame with Pete Fairbanks unavailable due to a cut on his right index finger. The 32-year-old righty issued a leadoff walk to Tyler O’Neill, which brought the potential tying run to the plate, but he proceeded to strike out Dominic Smith, Vaughn Grissom and Romy Gonzalez to extinguish any hope of a Boston comeback. He’s converted three of four save chances this season to go along with a pristine 1.47 ERA, 0.82 WHIP and 16/7 K/BB ratio across 18 1/3 innings of work. Rotoworld 40 minutes ago
    • Kutter Crawford strikes out six in loss to Rays
Kutter Crawford was charged with four runs over six innings on Monday in a loss to the Rays.

Advice: Crawford struck out six and only issued one walk. He got into trouble right away with two outs in the opening frame when he gave up a two-run triple to Amed Rosario and a run-scoring single to Richie Palacios. A fourth-inning sacrifice fly from Jose Siri was enough to saddle him with a loss in a low-scoring showdown at Fenway Park. He’ll bring a strong 2.24 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and 52/16 K/BB ratio across 52 1/3 innings (nine starts) into a road tilt on Saturday against the Cardinals. Rotoworld 42 minutes ago
